I'm Dave, 22 from Solihull in the UK (more info on profile
). Just beginning to get into poi after some of my friends introduced me to it (pigeon wigeon showed me to this site).

Okay. Um.
I just getting into poi. Haven't bought any yet as the shop near me didn't have the colours I wanted.
I'm hungry.
I'm working as a Barman till I find a better job but also am a photographer (freelance but with no work).
I play guitar (electic, acoustic and bass) and I sing. Also i'm working on a self recorded (using my pc) album.
I play paintball. Recreational in a scenario team.
I do Parkour (also refered to as freerunning) and am part of a group called Soli2ude and the Urban Freeflow group (a forum moderator).
I have a pet Gecko (leopard) called Leo. Original name I know.
I'm also into computer game design and am working an a special forces modification for EA's Battlefield 1942. I'm a skinner, basically meaning I use photoshop to create 2d images of weapons and stuff to be wrapped round the models in the game.
Thats about all I can think of really
edit: I used to do diablo but I gave it to my mate as I had stopped using. it

wow theres so much to do near you, do you got to purple mermaid?... i was there a few weeks back, some good jugglers and spinners.
do you have any of your photography online? id love to see some of your work as im also a photographer in my spare time.
also share your interest in reptiles too!.

Hi Dave, nice to meet ya and a warm welcome to HoP! Freelance photographer with no work- my heart goes out to ya buddy- similar boat. Luckily lately's looking pretty interesting, got a gig coming up and potentially some weekly work, and boy do I need it to line the pocket after a lil camera purchase. Good luck with that.
I also fiddle about with my electric acoustic and Adobe Audition (once upon a time cooledit pro..), yay for another guitarist!
And parkour?? Hats off to you. Fascinating to watch, and looks difficult- Come to think of it, I didn't get to finish watching Yamakasi!

pk ....:™: Nope never been to purple mermaid. Where is it at?
Ry' : It's really not that hard. Some of the aspects take a bit of time to master but most people can get the fundamental movements down in one day - one week (varies person to person).
Firepoise : I did briefly flash up on screen in the gym session a few times. Saying that i'm not actualy part of the UF Krew (now called Seidojin) I just help out with the website and moderate the forums.

Cool, cheers for the Purple Mermaid link. My friend works at uni and is also into poi so will be checking it out.
Cool about Meg, I know her through the boards but not personally.
Bass is easier if you can play guitar already.
As for the bolobnase thanks for the offer but i've eaten recently so no longer hungry.
