So here I am again. It's been a while hasn't it. My alto sax initially got a lot of use. Funny isn't it, how a fulltime job takes away all your spare time. Haven't had any time to poi too, apart from Jugglejam on Mondays and the monthly Moonfests. And even then, it somehow seems I tend to play with the stockwhip instead of poi shrug

Another lens has been added to the stable too. A Canon EF-S 10-22 3.5-4.5.. nice and wiide. But it all boils back down to that time issue. Despite having the new lens, I seem to find I'm out taking less pictures.. the folio hasn't been updated in a while, and I'm starting to get the horrible feeling I'm stagnating. Must. Get out of this rut.

If you're my muse and reading this, inspiration needed now. hug

-Edited 14 Dec 2005-

I liken this to opening the fridge to find that jar of misc what's it, several months expired ubblol. Hey how's it going? wave

So what's new! Well.. poi's getting a bit better for one thing. Nice how after poi-ing for a while, you stop hitting yourself senseless. In fact, one might argue how after a certain point, each hit puts more sense into you.. wink Haven't gone skating or rockclimbing in a bit, but that's ok- life's full of wonderful distractions, and really, you can only do a couple at a time.

University's just wrapped up! Yep. A degree in art & visual culture, television & digital media.. Just waiting for a piece of paper at the moment (yay!). And trying to sort out how Australia will let me live here forever and ever biggrin. Have I mentioned how wonderful it is, you so ought to visit *nudge* wink Also been getting out the with photography and stuff- a couple of projects to follow up on, blue skies and puffy clouds as far as I can see.

Updates updates. [insert geek] I've updated my camera gear too.. my 20D, 17-85 4-5.6 IS and 580EX now have a 70-200 2.8L IS to play with.. soon too, riding on getting a particular gig, either a 350D and a 24-105 f4 IS, or another 20D.. -grin- [/end geek]

[edit 14/12/05: Gig didn't go through, and ended up performing at it instead of shooting it ubblol Life has a funny way of messing you about doesn't it.. so no 2nd body for me just yet, or nice 24-105 f4 IS redface]

Been taking lots of photos lately. I think there's something intrinsically beautiful in capturing moments- you know how you look at a photo and it brings you back to where you were that day, who you were with, how the air smelt even.. Maybe one day I'll get to exhibit ubblove.. but yeah.. lots of work to be done meantime.

Hmmmm.. yes the world's beautiful today. It's good to have new toys, new moves, new direction.. old friends hug.. a best friend hug2, and enough distractions not to get bored for too long.

Btw.. favourite words haven't changed.. ubbrollsmile And mm.. I'm still not too close to balletic, and dulcet..

Hmm.. la la la laaa squawk.. footinmouth

[edit 14/12/05: I now have a beautiful alto saxophone- the best use of which I have thus far found, is to attract ducks and other misc waterfowl]

Yep, how about we say still aspiring. biggrin

Hope all's well with everyone- don't be strangers now! hug biggrin

I've been exploring this site a bit lately, and have decided everyone seems like a nice bunch- thought it's about time I said hello. Ryan, 24, born in Singapore, but Brisbane Australia has been home to me for the past 3 years.

I love photography, playing the guitar (if one took a picture of me with my guitar, it looks like I'm playing it- does that count?), getting from point A to B on my trusty mountain bike, inline skating and hockey, occasionally rockclimbing, and just being in good company. I'd also like to add poiing to the list when I stop hitting myself senseless.

Irrelevantly, my two favourite words (I've got heaps if anyone's interested) are 'balletic' and 'dulcet'. 'Balletic', unfortunately, isn't a word I'd use to describe anything I can do, and 'dulcet' is a word I haven't dreamt of aspiring towards yet.

Enough for now, don't be strangers! biggrin

Kels: Changing the subject.. what do mice have for tea anyway? ubbangel And how's that Cornish weather? hug

Beth: Ah.. a mouse having tea. I bet it's English Breakfast, 2 sugars and milk..

Btw, does Pete's garage adventures mean you might be a garouge dragon in weeks too? wink

Pete: A warm garage could be a very nice room you know wink Slightly unusual, but with potential. Eventually, you could brick up the inside of the garage door, and put a wooden door up.. And you'd have a new room to the house ubblol Then you could collect more bricks and construct another wall next to the wall of the house (assuming your garage is connected to the house though), and before you know it, you'll have your own separate house! And and.. *diy mania takes over..* bounce bounce2

Gnor: Yeah, was totally thinking of that. Right now depending what sort of fish and chips I have, lunch costs approx 7-10.. Am thinking I should probably be bringing stuff for lunch, but can't think of anything at the moment, nor have I got groceries. I might try and do some tomorrow. Perhaps some ham sandwiches. Will only get to start Friday though- haven't got anything in the fridge which could pass off for a decent lunch. Some wholemeal bread.. strawberry jam, apricot jam, vegemite, baby cucumbers, half a block of haloumi (:love), lots of powerade.. mmmm a few half lunches but nothing whole.. Any good idea for good packed lunches?

Chels: Might pass on the cinnamon toast (though the apple and cinnamon swirl ones are awesome! Toasted and with a little bit of margarine.. yummm..), cos I just had tea. With tea. Finished tea, and tea.. and I'm thinking of making another cup of tea..hehe

Jean: Hey miss! Yep.. Talk about information overload. Definitely! Have been memorising product manuals and complicated telephone systems and an even more kerfuffling computer system.. Getting there. It's all going quite well now. Hope tomorrow's even better.. how's yourself? hug

I am well, still running around after the little gremlin - he has lots of excellent stuff happening this term at kindy, with visits to the primary school, photos being taken, vegies in their vegie patch being eaten, fundraising bbq's and such! So he is amused, which is a great thing!
Keep well, and enjoy the work! hug

Bridal train is a fave too.

Well Bill has lunch for tomorrow, tnites leftovers. Honey soy garlic sausages veges and pasta.

Most other days he has taken ham and big salad sangers. At work he has a flatbed sandwich toaster thingy that makes stale bread taste yum. For $7-10 you could buy a fair few makings for sandwichs. Bill also will go buy buns from local Deli which is heaps cheaper than buying at inflated prices where he works.

Is there a toaster at work. Take a loaf of cinnamon toast wink

Ive also sent him in this week with Anzac fruit biscuits and cupcakes so he is set for snacks.

Do you like sushi?. Makes fabulous lunch as you can premake them and take them with a cold brick in one of those little eskies. Makes you look good too and so easy to make.

Cup a soup and fresh bread rolls? ummm......

My mum makes the best sanwiches ever.

ooo.oo curried egg so your workmates suffer!!!

Sui: ubblol Uber magic? I think you may be looking in the wrong direction. But yes.. am still playing with the idea of a COL entry.. not sure if I'll actually find the time to get on out though. Been a bit busy.. especially with the new job and all. But busy's good. Just a bit of structure in my life.. quite eager to move on to bigger and better things. smile

Andrea: Thanks for the words biggrin Panda-monium.. ubblove Like camel-mile wink!

Jean: New information.. lots to learn and sometimes you forget you're still learning. Work's good.. time flies pretty fast, but that's prolly cos I'm always on my toes. I'm supposed to have learnt a huge job in the week I've worked so far- Monday's going to be interesting on my own..

The gremlin.. hehe just think.. one day, perhaps 15 years from now, we'll be discussing the gremlin getting married! Hmm.. I wonder how HoP will age.. I wonder if half of us will still be on it..

Lou: Hey miss smile At this moment, I hope you're working hard. I know you're not hopping *at all*.. wink So you'll get that assignment done before work I'm sure. This arvie's been a bit of a waifish one. Just messing about on my guitar figuring out sink or swim, people who think they can and love serenade.. but stopped that cos I got distracted looking for my capo. Lost somewhere.. frown Hope the headaches go bug someone more deserving, and hope the evening at work's going to be an easy one.. hug

Yes yes.. sushi mat. tongue

Kels: Today I'm a bit like biggrin because it's moonfest. Weather's looking decently sunny, and it makes me like bounce. Hope it's sunny where you are too, so you can be bounce2 too.. hug

Ry guy?? ubblol

Gnor: mmm.. I love bridal train.. was one of the first few I really liked. Though I'm sure they try to sound more Aussie when they sing it ubblol A telegram arrived today.. ubblove

No thanks to curried egg ubblol Have been bugged to do the sushi thing, and I think I will as soon as I get round to doing some groceries. The ham/salad pita wraps were damn good though. $4.25. I suspect I know what I'm eating on Monday biggrin. Would your mum happen to post sandwiches this way?

Uk.. Will prolly do that eventually. Got people to visit, not to mention a pair of dogs I miss in Devon..

Durbses in Brissie.. *waiting.. anticipating..*

Pat: Excellent taste in music so far I say. You've been approved. biggrin Didn't know it was 2 of them making babies! Thought it was just the one.. Darn.. it'll be a while til they put on a show next I reckon. How nice would it be to be one of their kids.. Waif lullabies.. ubblove
