So here I am again. It's been a while hasn't it. My alto sax initially got a lot of use. Funny isn't it, how a fulltime job takes away all your spare time. Haven't had any time to poi too, apart from Jugglejam on Mondays and the monthly Moonfests. And even then, it somehow seems I tend to play with the stockwhip instead of poi shrug

Another lens has been added to the stable too. A Canon EF-S 10-22 3.5-4.5.. nice and wiide. But it all boils back down to that time issue. Despite having the new lens, I seem to find I'm out taking less pictures.. the folio hasn't been updated in a while, and I'm starting to get the horrible feeling I'm stagnating. Must. Get out of this rut.

If you're my muse and reading this, inspiration needed now. hug

-Edited 14 Dec 2005-

I liken this to opening the fridge to find that jar of misc what's it, several months expired ubblol. Hey how's it going? wave

So what's new! Well.. poi's getting a bit better for one thing. Nice how after poi-ing for a while, you stop hitting yourself senseless. In fact, one might argue how after a certain point, each hit puts more sense into you.. wink Haven't gone skating or rockclimbing in a bit, but that's ok- life's full of wonderful distractions, and really, you can only do a couple at a time.

University's just wrapped up! Yep. A degree in art & visual culture, television & digital media.. Just waiting for a piece of paper at the moment (yay!). And trying to sort out how Australia will let me live here forever and ever biggrin. Have I mentioned how wonderful it is, you so ought to visit *nudge* wink Also been getting out the with photography and stuff- a couple of projects to follow up on, blue skies and puffy clouds as far as I can see.

Updates updates. [insert geek] I've updated my camera gear too.. my 20D, 17-85 4-5.6 IS and 580EX now have a 70-200 2.8L IS to play with.. soon too, riding on getting a particular gig, either a 350D and a 24-105 f4 IS, or another 20D.. -grin- [/end geek]

[edit 14/12/05: Gig didn't go through, and ended up performing at it instead of shooting it ubblol Life has a funny way of messing you about doesn't it.. so no 2nd body for me just yet, or nice 24-105 f4 IS redface]

Been taking lots of photos lately. I think there's something intrinsically beautiful in capturing moments- you know how you look at a photo and it brings you back to where you were that day, who you were with, how the air smelt even.. Maybe one day I'll get to exhibit ubblove.. but yeah.. lots of work to be done meantime.

Hmmmm.. yes the world's beautiful today. It's good to have new toys, new moves, new direction.. old friends hug.. a best friend hug2, and enough distractions not to get bored for too long.

Btw.. favourite words haven't changed.. ubbrollsmile And mm.. I'm still not too close to balletic, and dulcet..

Hmm.. la la la laaa squawk.. footinmouth

[edit 14/12/05: I now have a beautiful alto saxophone- the best use of which I have thus far found, is to attract ducks and other misc waterfowl]

Yep, how about we say still aspiring. biggrin

Hope all's well with everyone- don't be strangers now! hug biggrin

I've been exploring this site a bit lately, and have decided everyone seems like a nice bunch- thought it's about time I said hello. Ryan, 24, born in Singapore, but Brisbane Australia has been home to me for the past 3 years.

I love photography, playing the guitar (if one took a picture of me with my guitar, it looks like I'm playing it- does that count?), getting from point A to B on my trusty mountain bike, inline skating and hockey, occasionally rockclimbing, and just being in good company. I'd also like to add poiing to the list when I stop hitting myself senseless.

Irrelevantly, my two favourite words (I've got heaps if anyone's interested) are 'balletic' and 'dulcet'. 'Balletic', unfortunately, isn't a word I'd use to describe anything I can do, and 'dulcet' is a word I haven't dreamt of aspiring towards yet.

Enough for now, don't be strangers! biggrin

Travelling Wilberies are an old band that Roy Orbison used to sing with (yes I am supposed to be too young to know that!)

Yeah it was in the books a while ago but then got interrupted by the new planes of going out of Australia....so I will be moving there when I get back.

It's w hile off though...

I've heard the fire scene over there is great!

So you think you might like a Fennec Fox of your own?
Before you go out and purchase a Fennec fox there a few things you should consider:
Fennecs are almost impossible to litter box or paper train.
Fennecs can and will dig under fences.
Get a hand-raised Fennec that was taken from its parents and bottle-fed. Fennecs raised by their parents are not tame.
Only domestically bred Fennecs are legal in the US.
Check your local laws. Fennecs are not legal in all countries or in all states in the US.

Pet fennecs enjoy mealworms, french fries, raisins and fresh vegetables. Lacking the musk glands of other foxes, they make good, if hyperactive pets. Their high-pitched yips make them sound like rubber squeak toys. Being noctural they are most active in the evening. They look like they were designed by Disney and act like they were animated by Warner Bros. Very cute!

Very very cute but I need more hyperactive creatires like I need scabies

Valura...I know how you feel my ex was like that...

He used to leave half eaten stuff on the floor for weeks on end...

I went away to look after someones house for five days (I cleaned the house before I left) when I came back every single dish, cutlery piece, pot, pan, casserole dish, glass etc etc was festering in the sink or on the kitchen benches...

Now keep in mind we had three sets of plates, four different cutlery sets....I want to know how the hell he managed to use so much in such a short span of time and why the hell he couldn't clean it up!

The only room in the house that remained relatively tidy was my room (yes the weird thing was that even though we were living and going out together we never slept in the same bed).

Some people are just disgusting.

When Bov came over a friend asked what we did if there was a storm. thats how much stuff we have just on the back verandah. Bov had to sleep in a shoe box whereas Ben and Lex lucked in with a renovated room. Lucky them.

I know you will just have to come over and see wink
