well, you do hafta figure with all the people being from all over the world, there are alot of slow times where us americans are on, but everyone else is asleep, at work or whatever.

you can't have a war against terrorism because war IS terrorism.it's not about worshipping fire. its about making the fire want to worship you.

Shinova, one thing ya could do is ask, say in a post, for people to volunteer their IM IDs, i'm on AIM myself tho have it turned on rarely, or when someone asks me by phone or in a chat or board or books time.

then ya'd have a realtime HoP community session. prolly this has been done before? vets? what?

Fire Mike it has been tried before but as we all live in different time zones it wasn't too sucessful.

Shinova. HoP is pretty laid back and people take ages having a conversation, this BB is not a chatroom and has a much slower turnover. Patience is required to play in here. If there is someone online you wish to have a private conversation with you can private message them in your profile. Check your welcome thread for cake

Think of HoP as like a graffiti conversation on the back of a toilet door (but much nicer & less smelly ). It starts slowly with someone making a provocative remark, someone dares to reply sometime later, then you get a little flourish of replies to that.

Sometimes no one replies for ages, then there is a lot of action. Some people spend all day, thinkiing of how they are going to respond. Some of the messages address big life questions, some are just people chatting about nutella (has anyone seen any toilet graffiti on nutella? )

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...
