Hey everyone.
I've been spinning for a few months now, but I just recently registered and found out I could do this. How cool is that? Anyway, I've never been on a message board before so I feel tingly all over! Weee! 
Ok so I know the basics I guess, I'm working my way into the wonderful world of wraps. I've used poi, glowsticks, and fire twice. I love everything becasue they each have their own special... umm specialness.
So I'd love to hear back from people, I all people and non-people. okies. That's all, drop me a line eveyrone, I wanna get involved in this world of poi and not be sheltered anymore.

So, its been years since I've been on the HoP boards and I feel all grown up since last posting when I was 17. So let me start fresh with a brand new post and hopefully a brand new outlook on the flow arts.
My name is still Jay,
I'm still from New Jersey
And I was still born on September 27th 1987 making me a 21 year old Libra at this point.
I've been spinning for about 6 years now, it started with poi and branched out from there into staff, whip, some meteors, fans,fire eating, and I'm starting in on Samoan fire knife and some circus arts; both of which are harder than they look.
I still make time from spinning to go on long bike rides, swim, run and work out.
Also aside from all that I'm an RN student working as a PCA in a nice little hospital in Jersey. I got lucky and landed a job on the beharvioral health unit. I've always been amazed how someone can be more or less fine physically and then mentally there's all these other issues. Its still sad, but I like my job.
My favorite color is neon reflective blue, I have short hair, I enjoy tattoos, both the process and the art, my favorite season is summer/fall. Yes summer/fall, that period in late september when some days are still beach days and then other days you get to snuggle up in a hoody and go for nice walks in the Autumn sun. That's summer/fall ^_^
I like to cook, I eat healthy, mostly twigs and leaves.
Nutella for the win.
I'm looking to get back into the community. Also anyone with any fire knife experience let me know, I made a practice knife but the balance is all screwy, screwy in the sense that it is screwy in a bad way, and I think I have the proportions wrong.
