Hey everyone. hug I've been spinning for a few months now, but I just recently registered and found out I could do this. How cool is that? Anyway, I've never been on a message board before so I feel tingly all over! Weee! biggrin
Ok so I know the basics I guess, I'm working my way into the wonderful world of wraps. I've used poi, glowsticks, and fire twice. I love everything becasue they each have their own special... umm specialness.
So I'd love to hear back from people, I all people and non-people. okies. That's all, drop me a line eveyrone, I wanna get involved in this world of poi and not be sheltered anymore.

Don't mind me, just passing through.

Fear not all, the DOOM will come in time... and when it does, oh the presents it will bring with it!

SO, anyway, as much as the guy in leather turn me on a bit, I'll tell you more about my sweet self ubblol

My name is Jason, I'm from New Jersey. I like most colors... but not orange, long story (I have a big rant on that if you're interested some other time)And yes, i love pink ^_^ I'm a high school senior and I have a caffine addiction from drinking to much coffee.
Of course I've very into poi, glowsticking, a bit of staff, but I'm not very good, I just like to play around with it, I was on the color-gaurd for a little while; diablo looks fun too and I've tried juggling... it turned out bad, hehe. I'm also on the swim team and just found out today that I got made co-captain! weeee(don't know how it happened though) I like to read books, I think I have an unhealthy obsession with vampires... am I alone though, they're all so awesome and like, ya know... hot.
So there's music in my life, of course there's music. Ummm, I'm into the basic stuff of a few years ago: the first and last slipknot CDs, Metallica, some Korn, Green Day, Deftones, Robin Black(Canadian Glam Rocker). I'm also into some gothic-y industrial techno-y bands. Apoptygma Beserk, Zeromancer, Funker Vogt and the like. Random Happy Hardcore is also good times. A bunch of other stuff I can't name of the top of my head is good too. I have a few guilty pleasure bands that I won't really admit too, lol. REM, i like REM. But thats not to bad.
I like to bounce around, I'm the least serious person ever. I can't wait to dive into a place full of nuts! Hoping thats enough to keep Dunc from interrogating me just yet. And I promise, the doom will indeed come.

Don't mind me, just passing through.

Aaaahhh Vampires. I wonder what the background is? I understand that there are several new hypothesis about the origin of vampires, including that they are born that way. I guess that's why they call it Fiction.

i think that there was originally this guy called Vlad the Impailer, who was a pretty malevolent bloke, and one of the things he got into was blood drinking. I heard that bram stoker based dracula on him.

There's this disorder I recently found out about where the afflicted person developes an obsession with drinking blood, either their own, animals, or humans. some of these people feel that they need the blood to survive.

If anyone wants to correct me, please do, I'm well known for my inaccuracy.

The vampire disease is called Porphyria. Probably the root of the werewolf myth too, as it can lead to lots of extra hair.

Hey hey and welcome to all the pink scantily clad vampyres
.
Especially Jaykitty (for I too am offended at all things orange it is the foul of colors and fairly average as a flavour as well)

Useless trivia - Carlos Ramirez claimed aliens abducted him and injected him with a disease which turned his blood into powder. The only way he could combat this extraterestrial infection was to drink other peoples uncontaminated blood.

Ok, so I have to ask if no one else is going to...

What with the hatred of orange?!

Not a fave of mine or anything, but goes nicely with purple....let's see....hunters.....little cones on the highway....sunshine....both my cats....little round fruit in Florida... and fire!

...so what's with the harsh feelings? You can tell us.....really..... *evil laughter* weavesmiley angel2

Congrats Ralph, don't burn yourself to bad ^_^ good luck. What kind of set did you buy?

Anyway, here's the hatred of orange, it has lots to do with colors and how i feel about them. Bear with me as I explain, and this is just how I feel about the connotations of certain colors.

Red is powerful! Firey! Red is the color of passion! Red is intense. It's warm and just altogether awesome. Red is a strong amazing color, it stands out from everything. Red is strong and kind of seems like a very masculine color. (No offense to girlies and their special girl time =^_^=)

Yellow is happy and bouncy and loud. It's a perky color. It's also very different and stands out. It's a warm color so it also gives you a sense of well being and comfort while making you happy too. Yellow seems feminine.

Orange... You get orange when you mix red and yellow together. Red and yellow are brother and sister, both warm primary colors. So when they mix they have an inbred semi-retarted baby, aka orange. Orange can't make up it's mind between yellow or red, it's in between, it's not really girly, not really manly, it's just there saying "be aware of me"(traffic cones, hunters things) Anyway, orange is like all the aspects of red and yellow and it just kinda clashes horribly. But yes, it does look nice with purple ^_^

Anyway, there's the orange rant. I love colors, I'm color blind though, i can still see colors, but they're distorted kinda. Like green sunsets, so sometimes, orange is green. It's groovy.

Don't mind me, just passing through.

Wow JayKitty that was deep (really) and I can totally respect that! Thanks so much for explaining.

I'm not so sure I can support orange anymore now that I know it's an inbred semi-retarded baby.... lol wink

I'm still laughing my *** off about that one! ubblol
