Posted: 1 - It's a long winding path through a forest full of trees and overgrown shrubs. You can't see the sky because of the trees. The path itelf is made out of just flattened earth and stones dotted throughout it. It has a very magical feel to it, and I feel serene and at peace and warmed by the tiny patches of sun that manage to penetrate the trees.
2 - It's about middle to long in length, slightly twisted and has a shiny kind of moss on it. I carry it with me, turning it over in my hands and eventually use it as a staff to walk with
3 - it is in the middle of my path in a patch of dappled sunshine. It is a large old brass key, slightly rusted. I pick it up and hold it in my hand, turning it over, before eventually carrying it with me in my hand. I might evenutally put it in my pocket
4 - it is a large stump, covered in the same strange moss that the stick is covered in. I go an stand on the stump, and use it as a vantage point to see to forest from a different angle
5 - the building is a small shack made out of branches and leaves, very appropriate to the environment it is in. However I feel a mixture of feelings, like the serenity and peace of the forest is somehow ruined because someone inhabits it, and I am no-longer alone in experiencing its beauty. but at the same time, I feel as though I have a friend who also loves the forest for its natural beauty
6 - the water is a river which is very clean and clear and sparkles in the dappled sunshine. The river seems to be very old. I follow it, off the track, through trees and shurbs, having to move some branches out of my way as I do, and the river expands into a small lake under the cover of the trees. Again, with dappled sunshine making it shine. I bend down to the water and wash my face in it, and have a little to drink. it's cool and refreshing.
7 - the wall is made of branches from the trees and has the same feeling as the rest of the forest. It's high, but not imposing, and it has a door in it, just my height, and slightly ajar. I feel that what is behind it is very important and personal to me. that whatever is there will have a huge part in my future. I feel that it might open up into bright field, full of grass and sunshine.

If I'dknown whatit meant I'd have writ something different.
Especially about the house and the water.
Ie, on my path there is no house. I repeat, no house what so ever. And no water. No water at all. I don't even look for water.
But I do keep the key, though I keep the stick too, all the sticks I ever find, and I drag the stump behind me on chains.

2. You find a stick. What do you do with it? Try to spin it.. Then use it as a walking stick because I kept dropping it while spinning.
3. You find a key on the path. How does it look like and what do you do? Its one of those small but important keys, like the key to a money box. I plan to give it in at the next mountain hut.
4. There's a stump on your way. What do you do? Step on it.

6. You find the water. What's the source of it (ie. a lke, river...) and what do you do? A small mountain stream. If it looks clean i will taste it, if it tastes good i will refill my waterbottle if needed.
7. There's a wall cross the path. How does it look like, what do you feel and what is behind it? Its a small wall, made of stacked stones. It looks like it has been there for at least a few hundred years. It is probably used to keep sheep on some mountain pasture.

terrible isn't it, all the ancient stumps and sticks we carry around.
When I did the test I threw the stick away, but that's only cos we have a dog who likes sticks! Too much reality on an imaginary path.

Posted: 1. You walk a path. How does it look like and what do you feel?
Its a track through some scrubland, almost outbackish, but not desert. there are some hills and mountains off to my right. i might climb them later. its midafternoon, but still pleasantly temperatured, which means its probably late winter/spring. there is a light breeze, just enough to keep the flies away. god i hate flies.
2. You find a stick. What do you do with it?
It's pretty gnarled, but still straight overall. i use it to swat the flies away. the ones that arent dissuaded by the wind.
3. You find a key on the path. How does it look like and what do you do?
Its small, not very intricate or exciting. i pocket it.
4. There's a stump on your way. What do you do?
sit down and have a smoke. relax in the sun for a while.
5. You find a building by the path. How does it look like and what do you feel?
Its an old, rundown cottage, brick/stone, with no roof. I'm intrigued, and move walk over to it, and start poking around. probably used to be a farmer's house or something.
6. You find the water. What's the source of it (ie. a lke, river...) and what do you do?
it's little more than a trickle, a remnant from rain a few days ago, still coming off the mountains.
7. There's a wall cross the path. How does it look like, what do you feel and what is behind it?
Its an old fence, only about knee height now. i sit on it, and have another smoke. on the other side, and all around, there is more bush, getting sparser as it goes away from the mountains.

How does it look like and what do you feel? it is surrounded by woods. it is a nice dark tan color of dirt, no rocks. it is worn but still has little bits of grass and veg growing up on it 2. You find a stick. What do you do with it? it is a worn stick that is tall as my shoulder...after unsuccessfully trying to contact staff it, i use it as a walking stick. this path is long and i didn't wear the right shoes. 3. You find a key on the path. How does it look like and what do you do? I see a coppery gold, old fashion key. it's still shiney and glints in the sunlight (did i mention i am walking the path in spring when everything looks fresh and new among the pine trees and a grove of sugar maples-it's a path i know from stevens point) i put in my pocket for later 4. There's a stump on your way. What do you do? Poke around it a bit, kick it to scare up any bugs, and take a seat because that path is getting long 5. You find a building by the path. How does it look like and what do you feel? it's a log house, traditional and sort rustic, but very well taken care of with a little landscaping. the path splits toward and away from the house 6. You find the water. What's the source of it (ie. a lke, river...) and what do you do? it's a waterfall that has a deep pool and no visible outlet. it's very tall like the horsetail falls in Oregon. I look at it and maybe wade in but i don't want to get crushed by the waterfall 7. There's a wall cross the path. How does it look like, what do you feel and what is behind it? It's really tall and made of wood like the walls from the ROTC boot camps that have ropes that you have pull yourself over. i'm not sure i can get over it. the path goes on behind it threw the same forest only it looks a little greener.

Posted: 1. It's a narrow pathway under the thick fairytale forest canopy, gnarly trees to the left and right and for a moment I hesitate, as I have to break through some spider webs, but then the pathway opens to an open, misty glade covered with lush grass and moss. 2. I take that long stick and start cutting the branches off, followed by some tribal carving around the handle. After some basic spins it settles into my hand as if it belongs there. 3. It's a small golden Art Deco key, with floral patterns and it looks like it belongs to a treasure chest. I take my necklace, open it and let it slip through the key to wear. 4. As I get closer to the stump, I notice little swirling fairies, which are trying to remove a huge rock blocking their entry to the fairy-world. I take that stick of mine and help them uncovering the tunnel. They thank me very much and direct my path to the building. 5. The building is a medium sized country estate, built from brick and elaborately decorated with stucco. It seem to be uninhabited for 2 centuries already, according to the ivy growing all over it. I feel a warm rush from the atmosphere of the place and in front of my inner eye, I can see past days and scenery of children playing and laughing. 6. A small creek runs into a pond, in which some colourful fish make their turns and I feel the tranquillity of the surroundings soothing my soul. I take off my clothes and emerge in it's sparkly waters and rejuvenate my exhausted self, diving to the ponds bottom and... 7. As I come to the grey bricked wall - tall as the Chinese - I'm sitting down, depressed, as I wouldn't be able to cross it and reach my destination... the valley, the meadow, where my family and friends live... but the little fairies come and take me under the arm, lifting me up and carry me over the wall.

It looks like a dirt/gravel path on expansive plains, with woodlands either side and mountainside for a horizon

5. You find a building by the path. How does it look like and what do you feel?
It is a worn-down abandoned cottage or house. Signs of life are obvious, but not recent. I can feel it's memory, of the beings and animals that have once lived near and/or around it. I briefly long for a walking companion, but this soon passes and I press on
Written by:
6. You find the water. What's the source of it (ie. a lke, river...) and what do you do?
It is a small stream, obviously stemming from a larger body of water some distance away. It is traversible by foot with no need for a bridge.

7. There's a wall cross the path. How does it look like, what do you feel and what is behind it?
It is a fusion of nature and artifice: The wall is made of rock, but it is not formed naturally. Life's answers await on the other side, to be known by beings greater than ourselves but not myself just yet. There is a slight split in the rock wall in front of me, indicating that it is only a matter of time before these answers will come to me.

i must admit it's not very rational but can be funny when i give u the answers
u must write the first thing that comes 2 your mind...
1. You walk a path. How does it look like and what do you feel?
The path is mud, hard packed but slick. There are plants lying across it a darker and withered green where people have trodden them down. There is a thin line of trees and beyond the grey of concrete buildings. Big blocky architecture that was in fashion briefly in the sixties. It's nice to be walking out in the open and I feel purposeful though I've no idea where the path goes. 2. You find a stick. What do you do with it?
I swing the stick around a bit and test it's weight. It's decently heavy so i try some staff moves with it although the weight is not on the axis so it spins awquardly. Tiring of the thing I smash it to pieces with a final two handed swing into a tree. 3. You find a key on the path. How does it look like and what do you do?
the key is small and a little rusted. Probably a key to a bike lock or small padlock. I add it to my large keychain. my key chain has a lot of randomly acquired keys, far more than I could ever need. The keys dangle from a chain of novelty keyrings connected by ringpulls. The thing is very impractical and weighs a ton. I have to clip bits off it periodicaly as it grows. It shows a slight kleptomaniac tendancy, but I don't take photos so the novelty keyrings are my way of remembering where I've been. Anywhere I go and do something I try to add something to my keychain, a novelty keyring or a key of some sort. This key will remind me of this trip every time someone asks me why I need so many keys on my keyring and i look through the ones I've collected. The keys keep better than the novelty keyrings which have a tendancy to be pulled off by general rough handling anything I own goes through.
4. There's a stump on your way. What do you do?
The stump is about four foot high I walk around it and assess it as an obstacle. i could probably manage a diving roll over it but the landings pretty tough. I try some vaults over it, taking a ten foot run up or so. A lazy vault is the easiest, you jump sideways over the obstacle with your strongest leg leading and just push down with your hand on it as you jump. it's a warm up. There are many harder vaults, dash vaults, turning vaults cash vaults and of course the kong. I could also try to just jump it clean or try a dive roll or headspring. A headspring is like a hand spring only you touch your head onto the obstacle, like just touching down into a headstand and pushing off again back to your feet. Handsprings are fine for smaller obstacles like park benches but with a higher obstacle you just can't get your self over your hands enough.
I stand back a little. I'm pretty sure I can clear it clean. When i think I can do something it really hurts to leave without having done it so I take some steps back, walk out a decent run up, take a second to grit my teeth and go. Slowly at first but then, when I can see how many more paces I'll need I accelerate suddenly and launch myself over, pulling both feet in underneath me. The fear with trying a clean jump is that you'll just catch one of your legs and come down face first and hard. I've never known this to happen though, it's never happened to me or anyone I know and we do this a lot. Still, thats the fear. The strange fact is that it's always something you didn't expect that hurts you when you get hurt. It's stubbing your toe on the pavement or scratching yourself or slipping off a log in a bad way when you were only a foot off the ground and balancing really wasn't hard at all. I did it, I'm happy for now. If there was someone here to compete with I could easily be pushed to try more but thats alll I'll push myself to do. 5. You find a building by the path. How does it look like and what do you feel?
The building is an industrial lot, it's all locked up and looks pretty uninviting. It has an empty car park surrounded by a wall, but nothing that can't be climbed. it looks like a new direction to take this walk and i usually try every new direction that offers itself. You can end up some amazing places. The wall shouldn't be hard to climb, it's just a quick jump for the ledge and scramble up. I survey the site for anything of interest. There's always something interesting if you know what to look for. Any trolleys, wheelbarrows, skips, fire-escapes, railings, any sort of corner with an interesting feature, a ledge just out of reach...or maybe you could climb it by bracing yourself against the slight inset of the door. Even so...this way doesn't look interesting so slightly regretfuly I turn back to the path and keep on. Always a shame when a new direction doesn't work out but you've got to keep on. 6. You find the water. What's the source of it (ie. a lke, river...) and what do you do? A canal, the regular width gives it away. Long disused by the looks of it. Amazing the canals there are out there, the railways of the early industrial reveloution, now somehow so forgotten. This looks like an obstacle and obstacles have to be conquered. Thats the way it works. I need to cross this river so i start looking for a fallen tree or better two trees with branches coming across that i could climb across on. Tree to tree transfers are very satisfying, once you start as well theres no going back. Still nothing occurs so I walk down slowly, looking for anything I can use to try and cross. The water probably isn't very deep. I don't think I can jump or fashion a bridge. If there were some boats around or planks maybe but I can't see a way yet. 7. There's a wall cross the path. How does it look like, what do you feel and what is behind it? The wall suggests a new direction. It's a new obstacle. if I could get over it who knew what might be there. Some industrial facility maybe, All sorts of things you might find. At the least i could walk along it and drop down on the other side of this canal. I would find a way over the wall. Jump and pop up, trees if possible, anything. It's really amazing the things you can do if you try.
