I didnt really know whether to put this in disscusion or here. so sowee.

Ok well, im setting up a darkroom so i can develop my loverly photies biggrin but, obviously, i cant develop photos with out developing fluid and such.
I know what chemicals im suppose to have (dev, fix ect) but when it comes to actual NAMES of chemicals i get totally lost. There are so many brand names and types i get confuzzled. confused
So any photographers out there that know what they`re talking about chemical wise?? I really need a helping hand coz i hope for the room to be set up by xmas. Might be a stretch but *shrugs* hehe.
K, thank you in advance! biggrin

in my dads darkroom, he uses ilford chemicals. you dont need to worry about the chemical names as such, just brand names.

but my dad reckons best thing to do is go talk to someone at jessops or something and they will tell you what you want.

also, yo exeter people smile

Ilford is the best for black and white photos in my opinion, dont touch jessops own stuff, its no-where near as good quality, personal preference tho obviously biggrin
