This is really just to guage a reaction.
We (the Falmouth Fire Fellowship
) were talking the other day about having a big fire party a couple of weeks before Christmas. Brad has an excess of wood in his shop that needs burning, and that's an excuse to have a party. 
We're thinking probably the weekend of Friday 9th Dec - Sunday 11th Dec. What do people think? Anyone fancy a trek to Cornwall to spin in the cold? We can guarantee lots of paraffin, lots of fresh herbs, and lots of tasty ale.

woohoo!! i'm on holiday that week!!!!! (and i was wondering what to do with myself....) Skully's right though, definately gonna need the thermal knickers.....
Am in falmouth next weekend (13th-15th) as it happens, although i intend to be thoroughly pissed for the entire duration and probably won't be allowed to play with fire because of birthdays and things..... so i don't even know why i've mentioned it.....

ok maybe not just been looking at train times think I can get there but not back on sun if I can scrounge a lift from someone up north then I would be very interested

Well... a few thigns pop to mind when I read this...
1) yes I want to go to this. Good its a the weekend too.
2)I really dont want my nuts and willy to shoot up inside my body due to the stupidly cold temperatures we will be enduring....
3)Fire is a good remedy for no.2
Wood is how it works and I heard talks of there being an excess of the substance 4)My term ends around then. The first proposed weekend in the original post is a good one I think
5) Its goig to be really cold. Wait. I already mentioned that one.
6)Anyone want me to bring my tent?

Not sure about the house/accomodation situation as yet, will have to see which housemates will be around. Even if they are there I can fit quite a few of you in my room/the lounge. I don't recommend camping to anyone, unless they camp in my garden, (which is always a possibility) and I'm also not convinced that the beach is the best spot to go. There are however, lots of lovely areas to have a fire and a party that don't involve a beach.
And Mech, I'll think you'll find South Park own the copyright.
But, on the whole, people are up for it?
