One Frustrated Zim

So last night was goin down to LA for a rave. Secret Squirrel (#17), most of my friends went to a party on friday, but i was busy so couldn't go to the same party as them. It's all good i figured, so i asked my friend who had been wanting to go but had never been before if he wanted to come along, and he was pretty excited. So we got there a little early, were hangin out with the people settin up, helped em out a little. They started letting people in and of course there was only like 30 some people there. I saw a good friend of mine stringin, and he was set to spin fire later on cause he works for the company throwin the party. It was definitely set up to be one hardcore-stylin night. So i crack my sticks and start stringin with him. It was cool, cause we had never really seen each other bust. So i get into my third combo (so had been stringing for less than 2 mins now) and the music stops, we stop, everyone stops. We look around......

The police got an anonymous tip regarding something about criminal activity and were shutting it down before it even started. The party gets rollin round midnight and this was at about 9:30. We were pissed, i was especially perturbed because it was my friend's first and he had been stoked for a week.

On the way out they were passin around a clipboard and asking everyone to write their name on it so they could get in free to the next party that was thrown by the same company, and the cop's like "what's that paper for? excuse me are you in charge of this paper? what's it for? why are you passing it around?" then some guy calls out from the line "what? petition to kick someone's ass? i'm in!" When the clipboard got to me there were names on it such as, Alice the bitch, donnie darko, destroyer of worlds, your mom, skeletor the overlord of evil and so on. I wrote my name as Zim Sergen and was on my way... SO SHITTY, care a lot 2 got shut down by the fire martial backed up by a good fifteen to twenty police cars(went down the street in both directions pretty much as far as i could see on one side and to the end of the street on the other) and a SWAT truck, a little much maybe? Does it really take that much to close down a party full of ravers?

i'm just a lil frustrated, it seems all the parties i pick get shut down...

well, next week there's monster massive and November 13th my friend's company is throwin a party and they're flying up a certain "Mitchell the Fire Shaman" to spin fire. Claimed to be one of the best fire poi spinners in the US. Hopefully those'll be good... if i spend 35$ on Monster Massive and it gets shut down i'm gunna [censored] a brick ... then again the presale is probobly more by now, so i'll [censored] a BIGGER brick .... as Fryed Fish once put it "the scene needs serious mouth to mouth"
