Hey there everyone,
Well, now that I'm close to post number 300 I thought I'd do an intro thread... it seems like I'll be hanging around for a while now

I'm 28, live outside Belfast in Northern Ireland, run the fire performance group FirePoise (www.firepoise.com), like to travel and good music.

And so today... FirePoise is launched

(Thanks to the very lovely Sym for all the work and server goodness)
Hopefully, in the next month or so, we'll be getting lots of work done on it.
In the meantime, the story so far...
We now have our own little Belfast fire dance group... available for weddings, funerals, Bar Mitzvahs, pubs, clubs and general tomfoolery.
We even have a stand at a big wedding event thingy happening in Belfast at the minute... unfortunately, owing to the morons blocking off streets and creating general confusion, there wasn't many people at it today... but it's running all weekend, so hopefully Saturday and Sunday will be better.
And, we're opening the fashion show
Hopefully good things will come of it - lots of other companies seemed interested today.
To my very dear friends who sorted me out last night... thank you... you have no idea how much I needed it and how much your words were appreciated.
I did ok today. Coped.

I am muchly impressed with all this...
Burnt Toast took so long to "get going" and you seem to have achieved it all in at least half the time.

Site's a wee bit light on info mind you...
(I also think there should be an international ban on people doing that back-to-back move with poi - but that's another matter entirely)

You guys are evil.
That's only the preliminary frontpage that had to be set up because of the launch last weekend.
We do have a full proper website designed, but I just need to find someone who will make it for cheap (free would also be good). It will have lots more info, pics, vids, links (including a bit with links to all your websites - hopefully).
And the pics won't be that rather annoying move either... but we had to take all our promo shots last Monday night as Belfast was rioting around us. Our photographer didn't want to come out of the house, so the girl behind the bar took the pic.
It was a last minute thing, so don't be mean.
But never worry... we have some good things lined up

I don't mind paying a lil bit for the site, because I want it to be good, with flash on the front page and a site that moves within the window (you know what I mean? Expands and contracts?!)
There are 10 pages designed already - and that's not including the seperate pages for pics and vids.
It'll be alot of work (and that's not even including the hassle from me being picky about every single detail)
I will finally be able to start sorting, organising and tidying the complete nightmare that I jokingly call my filing system tomorrow... so I'll be in touch with you lovely geeky computer people then
So how is everyone then? All well? Happy?
Am sending lots of love and hugs to you - cos I'm missing people all the way from Edinburgh to Falmouth to Dublin. Le sigh.
