Not exactly new to the site, but never bothered to introduce myself - until I saw all the fun that was being had by others. And the truth is, this thread is all about me! Suits my ego down to the ground.

SO, I am neither Gerald, nor Arthur, I'm also not an old hag.

I shall quell my tendancies to outright lying (partly because I know I'd be immediately uncovered... though that sounds appealing :dirtylaugh:) and talk about the "real me". Nice.

Full name - Laura Michelle Egginton. I really like jam. especially seeded raspberry jam.

My favourite toy - I have favoured the joys of poi for a good few years now, started spinning in 2001 ish. I've had a great time spinning with everyone I know and met over the years and continue to constantly be inspired biggrinhug thanks all ubblove

I study languages - German, easy fluency

- Portuguese - can converse

- Spanish, I can get misunderstood, but generally survive only mortally offending the odd person.

- French, gets me into all kinds of [Old link]...

currently (Sep2004) working on... contact poi, RHD inspired throws and moves, bloody whip catchescensored, various tangles, improing the design of my fire poi. Also improoveing my spelling.

I also play with sticks (badly) and juggle (also pretty badly, but its all about the passing smile)

so thats me in a nutella shell - oh how we do laugh, "what wit!" they cried in unison.

hugs (snogs if your lucky, but not you Maderlock, that's just wrong)

Loz

yup, Molly's got the idea, its all to do with pixies and pigeons, as are most things in life if you think about it too long. (and are stuck in a room with pixies and pigeons)

About the hyperloop and UTL whip catches - I don't think they actually are whip catches, but rather hyperloop throws, which are also very pretty! What I'd now call whip catches are when the poi has already been released and is then caught by the other poi after having done a half-rotation or more... I'll stop with the technical geekery now.ubbrollsmile (except to say that I've been working on my juggling patterns and can almost get a 2 (2,2) now... but it's easy to mess up)

And Duncan, you keep digging that hole!

Yeah, I feel really honoured to have Laura staying at my house at the moment. She's really amazing at everything she picks up... I kinda want to be her.

its ok dude theres nothing wrong with wearing womens clothes you dont have to lie about it

twisted brain functions? Me? hmmmm maybe all that poi twirling is twisting my brain into beautiful patterns, allowing me to reach a higher plane of existance and intelligence - ever think of that Mike?

No! cos your brain is completely untangled and limited, trepanning for you too!

Anyway, where was I? oh yes, off to make a gormet dinner for you Mike (and Tim)... what will it be? Chicken on the head? or maybe I should tow a swan into international waters...
