I've seen a couple of viseos and some of the really good ones had great rhymth and grace so it got me thinking, how many of you can dance? Surely some of this rhymth must be natural.

As for me, I don't dance. Ever. As far as I go is head nodding and knee bouncing, I just don't have the rhymth for it which is partly why I took up poi -- to try and teach myself some rhymth.

Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand and I can beat the world into submission.

hmmm, doesnt matter about 'having the rythm for it' man! unless ur on some podium at some naf townie club or something then censored it just move about how ever feels nice.
obviously its better if ur all rythmey, but who cares,
-if ur bobbing ur head and ur knee, then obviously you want to dance,

-all dancing is is just taking it a bit further,
forget about if someone else things 'hey that guy hasnt got rythm' coz theryre not gonna think that anyway, just dance man, dont deprive your self of something so natural that doesnt have any rulese, (even if some say it does)

Annoyed with yourself for dancing??? Why??????

Dancing has no rights and wrongs. If you worry that other people are watching you and judging you just shut your eyes and shut them out. Dancing is not about others its about your relationship with the sound and how that makes you feel inside and expressing that feeling through movement. If others choose to watch you when you do that its up them.

i do know that the male ego can be damaged very easilly (im male by the way) as there was a time when my g/f took the piss out of me dancing and for ages after i didnt want to dance and the then the fact that i thort i was looking silly made me look sillier, but then i was like fcensoredck it,
do more getting pissed and see if you can do more dancing wen u r, soon, it will feel more natural and teh alcohole wont be as nescacery anmore

i love to dance, i often wake up the next morning and thing, 'boy you got carried away there ado' but it never stops me going for it the next night. It doesnt matter if im completley clearheaded of under the influence.

With the right music (preferably something funky with a nice base line) I just close my eyes and let go. I have to say i'm truly happy when dancing. Its one of the only times i feel free.

Now when i pick up my staff, well thats a different place altogether.....

Dancing is fun. I didn't ever do it, but then one day I thought "[censored] it, who cares if I look like an idiot?". People seem to think that if they move their body in a certain way people will look at them and laugh, and if they move it in another way people will think they look great. The truth is, if you can move around to music in a way that feels good and doesn't make you feel self-confident (and it really shouldn't!), then you can dance.

I've been told I'm a bit of a mover, as it happens. I just get drunk and wiggle about.

What a wonderful miracle if only we could look through each other's eyes for an instant.

I'd be a pretty crappy glowsticker if I couldn't dance. But for the longest time, couldn't dance at all.

Glowstringing led to smoothness led to being able to dance.

eh - I reckon a rave is about the best place to learn how to dance. Theres soo many ppl in their own world just boogying down and thats how it should be. Sure it can be an entertainment for others, but I reckon the most fulfilling stuff for me is when I'm dancing like noones watching.

And blokes, if you feel like you cant dance, theres only one way to learn! do it just let the music take control! smile I certainly couldnt imagine not dancing to music I enjoy, its such a release, and you dont have to be a good dancer to enjoy dancing - I'm proof of that.

At T in the park I actually had to teach a mate to dance!

It was sad how many people were just standing about, and my mate was the same - had to convince him that no-one gave a sh1t what he looked like, pointed out a few other people who looked like fools (and how he hadn't noticed they looked like fools till I pointed it out.) If you're in the right place, no-ones gunna mock you for dancing, even if you look like a loon, because the fact that you can let yourself go, and they cant, will leave them jealous.

And if they do mock? Incorporate the middle finger into your routine.

I think i dance pretty well. Im a pretty confident person so i could happily dance on an empty dance floor after a few drinkees. Ive been applauded once actually. Apparently i dance 'very provocatively' and once at Uni a group of guys applauded me and said 'thanks' after the song had finnished. I dont do it to seduce either, i just enjoy moving and feeling the music. I wanted to be a ballerina when i was younger but was never allowed to go. I WANTED A TUTU!

Anyway... enough of my childhood dramas... everyone should dance! Its such a great way to express how happy you are. I can get anyone to dance and i love to dance with anyone. Its too much fun to miss out.

yea so...ummmm...dancing. if you ask me the weird thing about it is that most people can dance, they just choose not to for fear that others make make fun of them. I got over that one real fast...mainly cause everyone made fun of me anyways. about 4 years ago, about a year before i started spinning, i desided that i wanted to learn to break dance. well i still kinda suck at breakin' but it did teach me A LOT about how to actualy dance. now went i go out clubing and dancing the only time i have to worry about looking bad is when my friend becca goes....damn.......she can dance.......and looks good while doing so......................................
