Hello wave

Name: Molly (or Caro in a different world)

Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon smile

Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.

Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.

Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech ubblove Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.

Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE ubblove

Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):

blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born smile

um, that'll do I think...

oh one more thing,

I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people hug

what a fabby place ubblove

now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

Elizabethan style corsets are actually less restrictive than the victorian S-bend style. They just look worse because of long poin and high waist (higher than natural waist). Suspect slight exaggeration in most protraits too.

COme round and see books sometime and I'll dig out some nice silk and see what I can do.

Did you know Elizabeth I had over a thousand dresses. This at a time where court dress cost the equivalent of a house and most nobility would remake dresses when fashions changed because fabric was so expensive. The things you get away with when you're a queen! People actually left clothes to friends and relatives in their wills they were so valuable!

Yes... Oh, and since we're talking hoops... I wonder Molly, if we shouldn't bring out to EJC the skinnier hoops that Groovehoops have that we sometimes complain about... because they'd be a heck of a lot lighter to carry a roll of 9 or something.

We should order rolls before the weekend.

toolless hooops?! Think of all the unemployed tools! We'll have to arrange some sort of activity for them so they dont' all get sad.

My ear drums are quite hardy - it comes of being in this rumbly squeaky city smile But yes, not too much bouncing bounce stop that.

Now... how do you feel about bunting?

i am partial to a bit of bunting... depends on the occasion though... anything interesting happening in close proximity to asid bunting? wink

as for the tools... i think they are very happy that they can stay in the tool box with the nuts and none of them have to worry about getting covered in fuel and fumbled with in the middle of the night...

smile

when you guys arriving?
