Is this like a non poi spinner town or soemthing, I'm moving there soon for a bit for uni and would really like to meet up with some spinners in the Hull area (Kingston upon Hull that is) anyone????

why did you choose hull ? it's not that nice a city really... (no offence to anyone who lives there, but i've been and i know it isn't nice)

Well its the University of Lincoln but because I'm doing Film Design they have set up a hull campus due to the film part of it always beign based in Hull so at leatst its not hull university, I've been there three times and found nothing wrong with that, it seemed much nicer than where im living though, oh well, i'll try it out

i studied there for 4 years and just graduated...
to be fair, it kinda sucks...(incl. the uni...) the good point though is that i met a lot of nice people there so i'm sure you'll be alright 
good luck and maybe check out pearson park... occasionally saw some people spinning there (not wit hfire though and not many)

I myself am going to the university of hull and was looking for other people to meet up with. I don't use poi but am a jedi with the devilstick. Any good?

so yeh im going to lincoln uni hull campus so not actually hull uni but its basically next door to hull uni's headquarters so we'll be like 5 mins from each other me thinks, i replied to your post on firetoys as my other alternate ego pyromaniac inside called dante.

i think the nearest active scene is in Leeds but i dont know anyone who goes to any meets there.
come to think of it, i believe there are some spinners at york uni but i dont know them

hey man. In case u haven't found out. there used to be some spinners who met up in the park around the back of the adelphi pub (at least i think it's the adelphi pub, it's the one where all the alternative bands play). Anyhoo peeps used to meet there on Sundays depending on weather.
There also used to be a juggling stall in the shopping centre in the middle of the city right on the top floor on a saturday. You could ask that guy for directions cos it was kinda juggling club but most peeps just did poi or sat around and talked.
Do the local chavs still chase asylum seekers through the streets?

My bro lives in Cleethorpes (across t'water from Hull) and I'm sure he'd love it if poi spinners were to do something there.

Ed this year you have tog et yourself a young persons railcard cos im dragging you around the country with me, you know its only 10 quid with one to go to manchester return!! its a special deal they do normally its 25 or something so in 2 trips the card has already paid for itself! and lets not forget the sheffield spins are only 45 min train journey, thats closer than spitz for you!

I want to go to manc too! - but of course - i'm not allowed! argh! its 9hrs away by bus and a plane ticket costs between £200 and £380 (yes i checked)
