Hi, I'm Howwoward from Seattle

Age:30
Job: working for the circus
Spinning for a bit more than 2 years now - started spinning single staff after Burning Man 2002, where I saw fire spinning for the first time ever (how did I miss it before then?) - it was one of those "gee, how hard can it be? I bet I can do it!" moments... little did I know how hard it would actually be redface !

I'm currently spinning single and double staff and single and double broadsword/firesword, dabbling in poi, and thinking about creating a staff with flaming broadswords at each end. I'm working as a fight choreographer and performer for the local fire circus (Cirque de Flambe), and have dabbled in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Wushu, and Capoeira. I'm moving to Reno, NV soon, so I was looking to find spinners in that area.

Anyway, I've learned a lot about spinning from this website, especially from everyone's vids (yahoo!), and hopefully, I'll be posting some pictures of my fireswords (and a video?) if people are interested.

Thanks for reading!

'ello! wave welcome hug you're avatar makes me giggle biggrin

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Custom Bug - well, you could pronounce it many ways, but I think the funniest way is " howWOWard ", said with a smile on the face ubblol

Musashii got the preview of the sword - I'll try to post some pictures on the fire sword thread!
Unfortunately, everyone moves - maybe I'll go see what Controlled Burn in Reno does...
