so this weekend i got talking into drinking Taqula (which i cant spell) a drink that after the last time i drunk it i voled i would never drink it again. anywhy i drunk it again. after finishing one bottle of wine, and then moving on finish the second bottle of wine. when into town. while walking into town i triped on the cirb and twised my ankle, and then a mate of mine got bet up for no aparant reson. (we had saven off some of his hair and given him a mo-hawk and i cant help but wonder if that was the reason behind it. he got 3 stiches behind his ear) went into town and had a few more shots and a few more tattoos and a very goodnight...untill the end of it sort of faded out. i did drink to much which is something that i dont often do. infact i think that would have been about the worst i have ever been. anyway i ended up being carred home, and a mate was looking after my bag, which had everything in it. my new Pxt phone, my wallet, my keys. $200 dollers that i needed to pay of my contactes, $50 of emergancy money, my licencs, my eftpos card, make up everything. when i woke up in the morning i asked for my bag only to be told that no one new where it was. i have sence, been down to Mcdonaleds where im told we stoped, to the petrol station, the police, walked back down the track twice, and there is no sign of it anywhere. iv rang my phone a few times, and even left a message saying that is its returned ill pay them a reward all to no end. i just cant beleave that the -one- time i get that drunk i have to go and lose everything and i have no way of replacing any of it which i no ill never see again!! frown frown

sorry just had to have a wee bitch

Ah... the evils of alcohol... redface

Love the stuff... but tend to plan ahead - ie, tie my housekey into my shoelaces so i can't loose it, leave all the nonessentials at home....

Tis a shame about all your stuff Fire Bunny.... hate that feeling of dread when realise you've lost all the essentials....

Hope they turn up soon (Last time my bag got stolen it got found days later in a dog poo bin half an hour away from where it got stolen - no money, but at least i didn't have to get new drivers license etc)

Hopefully some nice soul will hand it into the police... My fingers are crossed for you hug

I smile because i have no idea whats going on!! biggrin

I'm sorry not be as sorry as I should be, but you did not lose everything by a big margin.

If you wish to make yourself more thankful, try Googling a few of the following terms

* Death by alcohol poisoning
* Tetraplegic cannot commit suicide
* Man loses entire family in plane crash
* Leper loses last limb
* slow and painful death

and so on and so on...

I had my bag stolen at a gig a while ago, with several hundred dollars worth of balloons, my brand new cellphone and some other stuff, but it made me realise how lucky I was int he rest of my life.

Perhaps you could say you have gained wisdom... wink

It is sad and dissappointing that you lost everything, but, as others have said.. maybe it is a bit of a lesson... I am one of those people that believe that stuff like that happens for a reason... anyway, I hope everything gets better...

i no its my fult and i have learned my leson:

dont expect someone to look after you or your stuff
dont beleave them when they say they are
dont drink Tequila. ever. again. (and i mean it this time)
and be happy about the good things!

i was talking to mum and the police and i might be able to claim insurence on my fone, and when i rang up vodafone to blook my sim card they said that i can get a new sim card with the same number so i might be able to replace some of the stuff if non of it comes to light soon

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Just a little tip, if your driver's license has your correct address on it, & your keys were also in your purse, change all your locks!!! A would-be-burglar could get into your house with your keys if they know your address, same goes for stealing your car if those keys were there too. A friend of mine had her purse with evreything in it, & then her house was robbed a fwe weeks later with no sign of forced entry. The police figure that the theifs had gotten her address from her license & gained entry with her OWN house keys. Be careful, and good luck!!

Never settle for normal.devil

That's excellent!!! I know what you mean about the money : I once lost my wallet at IKEA with € 200 in it (for the curtains I was about to buy frown) I thought I would never see it again but someone threw it into a mailbox - without the money of course. Even though I was sad about it (because I saved it up for ages to get those bloody curtains) I was just happy to have all my personal stuff (driver's license, ID, credit cards,...) back. It's a weird feeling to know that this someone knows your address and what you look like - that's scary really. Not to mention the hassle you have to go through to replace all the [censored] (go to the registration office, call up the bank,...). Anyways I am very happy for you and know how relieved you are right now hug
