Once I'd lain down on the coals, and Strugz and I had had a "who can sit on embers the longest" contest, we tidied up and ambled back to the site. Raided coffee from the barn and dragged my sleeping bag out of the tent and lay down outside to smoke bifters with Eddie and watch Mr Strugz grooving with the aerotech poi.

I remember that so well, ive never attempted to set fire to my ase before dude and im glad out of all the peeps i met i got to burn my [censored] with you ubblol

Was a fine weekend and you made a fine host smile

Tell me again why your not coming to Uberstaff - and it being at totally the other end of the country is not allowed as an excuse wink

Hope all is well man hug

Simple really Monsieur Strugz, I is getting on a plane for India about 1am Sunday morning, and I won't be back til the 25th of April. I would have loved to come, and if those groovu Edinburgh types do it again, I'll be there.

Tuesday 29th March - Thursday 31st March

Did very little. Attempted to raise money for India, and didn't do exceptionally well. Played staff a lot, trying to put into practise all the ideas I'd gleaned from Fal3. I'm not sure if I ever learn a huge amount actually at meets, but I certainly have a learning-spurt (if you'll pardon the phrasing) for the month or so afterwards. Wednesday, Loz, Adam and Ed came over (who some of you may have met at Fal3, they were about for a bit) and we had a jam, before heading to the pub to have a drink and play at open mic. Adam didn't play as he didn't have his pedals, so Loz and I did a few songs on our own, including two new ones (an excerpt of which can be found on Mr Sauce's video of Simian spinning his doubles at Fal3 - wicked spinning too!) and claimed our free pints.

Thursday we played poker. I think I'm startin to get the hang of it, but I doubt I'll ever be a high-stakes player. The way I see it, it's a 5r to play, so at worst you've spent a fiver and had a really fun evening. Needless to say I lost all my money. But it was cool, and I drank lots and ate lots of nuts.

Yer all beauties. biggrin

Ok, quickly then. Last weekend (1st April - 4th April)I went to Lanson and spent it with the kids. Made muffins, made a mess, made them get back in bed, made them cry, made them laugh, made them breakfast, lunch and dinner, made about £3000 in play money playing poker on the PC, and came back to Falmouth.

Spent this week being bored, wishing that either you guys would all come back again, or that I could just sleep for 5 days and wake up in India, without all the accompanying getting-there hassle. Finished off a few bits of college work, which I really ought to hand in before I go, and in a minute, I'm going to go and pack my bag. Still haven't sold the bike, and I'm running out of money fast, but I'm not thinking about it until I get back.

Ho hum. I may post tomorrow, if not, I love you all and I'll be back (with a killer suntan) in a couple of weeks.

Take it easy.

one ikkle thing, what was the levelers song you sung on saturday night of Fal3? it's been stuck in my head since and i can't find out waht its called

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

Havokist>> The Falklands Song? ubblol I feckin hate that song! It's called "Another Man's Cause", and it's on the Levellers album Levelling The Land. And if you play guitar, it's Am - G - F - G for the verse, and C - G - Am for the chorus. A child could do it, and yet what happens every time they come to Falmouth? I have to play that censored song. biggrin

Right. Work is done and handed in, bag is nearly packed. Just gotta go home and go to bed early, and then I'm off and out of here for 2 whole weeks. Woohoo.

Love you all, 'speshly the one's I don't know.

Enjoy.

You know you love it really, especially when you're being forced to sing it against your will for everyone, especially me, around the camp fire, with cold bleeding fingers. Just think of all the smiles you've caused by singing it sooooooo many times. And now we have it on video we get to hear it every day if we want to!

Oh, and your version is way better than the Levellers wink

Sorry for the lack of updates since India. Things have been a bit odd, and I haven't really wanted to talk about them.

Mo and I have broken up. She thinks I've cheated on her. She is still in India.

I am trying not to think about it and attempting to write 8000 words in the next 10 days. Am very concerned about passing the 2nd year.

Need to find a costume as Brad and I are performing at Run to the Sun in Newquay next weekend. Should be fun...

will post more when I'm not so overwhelmed.
