I've been rooting around this place for a few weeks now and it never fails to impress me. Quite simply I love it. I bought my first staff a few months ago and last night I finally set it on fire. Now I am truly hooked for life. What a blast, and I only burned myself very slightly.

So hello everyone!!!

Hey hay

just spotted your new mole. very nice smile

I will photograph the flamey stone... Though that hill really didnt want to be photgraphed. All the shots i took were underexposed and most of them are to dark to even make out... For some reason i forgot to check the settings on my camera. Later on a girl asked for my camera to take a photo... She pointed it at a very special tree and all of a sudden people were shouting at her.... me included... luckily there was no fim in the camera wink

but i asked the hill for something nice to take home a lo and behold...

So i had a dream about fighting a lion

We were in a building together. Amelie was there. We were in a big glass lobby and looking around talking about something. Probably the building. Next thing you know a lion walked in. In a bad mood. i pushed amelie behind me where she stayed for the rest of the dream. The lion circled and i felt i had to do something. So I growled and bared my teeth at it. I felt i could fight it. It jumped at me, or under me i should say and i knew, not felt that it had bitten my leg.

Then we were outside. Looking back at the automatic doors of the building. They were double doors... like an outside one and an inside one... and i went back for a look. no sign of the lion but there was a very large pool of blood and a few people trying to cover it with a sheet. The sheet soaked it up and they moved it around. Then i was overwhelmed with emotion and started to cry... I looked up and there was a girl dressed up goth style watching me with a cruel look in her eye that i cant forget. She was enjoying it.

thats all i remember really.

 Written by:

'Lion: A dream about lions is associated with nobility, strength and pride. Your success depends upon your ability to cope with opposition. Will have a valuable friendship. '

and

'Dreaming of a lion shows you have many obstacles to overcome, and must resist the real force that is driving you to self destruction; if the lion overpowers you, you will lose, but, if win out over the lion you will be the victor. As the lion usually represents different aspects of our own inner nature either as we are, or as we think ourselves to be, then in this light the dream must be correlated by using as many of the symbols you see in your dream and carefully analyzing the different actions of each character.'

I think im more disturbed by this dream then i even realised myself.

Theres alot going on I guess. Moving to galway is a big thing for a lot of reasons. And I can see ny choice radiating out into the futur.

Im really excited by it...

havin some freaky dreams though...

In another recent one i was scream at this girl that was contstantly getting in my way. She was trying to sleep with me and wouldnt leave me alone... I was shouting... "Your not real, your only an aspect of myself!!..."

I'd say 'forget the dreams and get introspective while you're awake'.

I'm sure you can figure out what's wrong without some random dream analysis website. And once you figure out what's wrong, making it right is usually the easier part.

Hey you started it!!!

Im not sure anything is wrong. I'm quite a happy bunny at the moment smile i think its more that i'm being challenged both in work and in my personal life to stand up and become. And there are certain questions about the futur that remain - and will remain -unanswered.

Today I did my first presentation and the department bought it no questions asked. Im so chuffed. Im so used to people resisting change that i was didnt really know what to say when the boss said 'looks good, lets do it'. I've only been here three weeks!!!

bounce2

last night we had these two stray's stay that amelie picked up.. jugglers... but really travelling, homeless, hardcore anarchists if you ask me... anti establashment all the way... destructive... stealing is ok... everything should be free kind of people. They stepped on their welcome by ranting at us about being part of the establishment. It really upset me that i couldnt articulate how I really felt about what they were saying.

it upsets me more that there are so many things that I dont have an opinion on or adequate knowledge of to back up my 'gut feeling'... i've been apathetic for a long time.

Its situations like these, more than anything, that are challenging me to question not who i am, but to realise who i am, embrace it and live it.

sounds dramatic. but these are the times. and these days i smile alot.

Hey there smile

Just back from Limerick (this time without torrentous rains, it was actually really nice). Too bad I couldn't make the EJC, but I met some random German jugglers on a campsite who'd been there! I mean, come on, what's the chances we pitch our tent right next to more German jugglers!!

Maybe I'll make it to Falmouth, too... am thinking about digging into the savings and getting a car!!! (Britain watch out, another German trying to remember which side of the road to drive on!! nana) Give Amelie a hug biggrin

not sure what I wanna be in Samhain yet, probably depends on who'll take me after I'll miss the first month or so of rehearsals for being down in England frown

Limerick... yeah, just went to visit someone there, couldn't get week time off for the EJC, so I thought I'd have to go to Ireland anyways smile Nice boy and nice weather, too, so it was well worth the trip and getting away from work for a few days, there will be too many weekends of work ahead of me in the last months of my PhD. But then you can all call me Dr. Birgit!
