the nipple...twice?

owwwie. I thought about my nipples, but then...I like how sensitive they are, and I know there's a chance you could lose sensitivity, and...well that just wouldn't do!

I'm thinking about getting my tongue done....it's a matter of it not being visible and noticeble at work.

well i got the left one done first, and then it grew out after a year (that happens sometimes...the body rejects the piercing). so i took it out, let it heal, then got it repierced. and damn my luck, it happened again. so i'm real hesitant to get them redone yet again. plus now my left nipple is a bit bigger than my right cause of the extra scar tissue. frown it's quite annoying. oh well. and as far as losing sensitivity? it's generally actually makes your nipples more sensitive.

the tongue you can also get clear balls for your barbell so it's not really noticeable. and once it's healed, you can always take it out during work and put it back in after.

oh you don't really have to worry about it being sore. it was the least painful piercing i've had (and i've been pierced 23 times). and in reality, the only thing you want to worry about it have a snug pair of undies to keep it from moving around too much (not that it really does, but you know what i mean)

not necessarily. if you get it on the right spot on your hip you can avoid stretching. my sis had one there and got pregnant twice, and it still looks fine.

well if you have it low enough on your hip, and enough to the side, you can kinda figure out where it would stretch or not if you ever got pregnant. i've got tats down there, low enough at the moment, but i still want to complete a semi-circle of symbols across my abdomen. but i also don't plan on having kids, so it's all good no matter what smile

rolleyes

ok my dear child, here's a brief lesson on feminism and the social construct of pregnancy/childbirth/motherhood.

not every female wants to have kids. some of us actually do challenge the status quo and CHOOSE to not have children and LIKE IT. i know you don't mean any harm, but from someone who gets that comment said to her nearly every time i say that i don't want to have kids, it's insulting. i've got a few years on you, and i've had plenty of time to think about it and my reasons why. and those reasons are quite valid, and in fact, they could be that i am unable to physically bear children, to which, if that were the reason, you would have incredibly insulted and hurt me. so as a friendly suggestor, that the next time you have the discussion on childbearing, you might want to perhaps at least ask the person why they have made that choice first, or better yet, just accept it from the beginning.

in the meantime, you may find [Old link] an interesting read.
