Hi,
I have taken up poi over the last 3 weeks and had the opportunity to "play with fire" last night and really loved it. I am 24. I am from launceston, tasmania, australia. I will be graduating on saturday with a sports science degree, which i am rather excited about.
don't really know what else to tell you all. Feel free to ask questions and i shall give you answers

what the wet fish question?
Depends when it is used for. If it's used for slapping people around the head with to knock some sense into, yes they could be very handy
