Oh, my goodness, Gidg...You don't have air conditioner??? I'd not know what to do without mine...got central heat and air...
We've been having temp in the triple digits with the heat index, too...got a little relief today with some storms...which was an extra bonus since we've been so dry, too...
The weather is just extreme everywhere, it seems...from the floods to heat waves...I'm just hoping that once the worst part of the hurricane season gets here that we don't have extremes there, too...
