I got bored so I decided to change this again.
Name: Elanna (remember, folks, "Ela" is spelled with one 'L' not two).
Age: Himitsu da.
Location: Central Jersey, or Newark, DE.
Hobbies: Spinning, music, chainmail, slackline walking, martial arts/weapons, anime, video games, reading, skating/dancing, sleeping...
Spinning for: A few years, but nothing to show for it.
Favorite toys: Staff, fans, poi, eating torches, slackline, a nice piano, my NES
Books: I love to read, so there are few books I've read that I dislike. I prefer fantasy novels, though.
Movies: Anything by Mel Brooks, The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, any of the Monty Python films, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR, The Princess and the Goblin, the old Disney movies, the list goes on and on...
Favorite color: Blue.
Favorite websites: HoP, of course.

Actually...instead of having a written midterm and a final, she's giving us tests every day. We still have an oral midterm and final, though. And they're not going to get easier...A test every week or two is good 'cause I have enough time to learn the material well, but this is just cramming stuff into my head. I won't remember it a day or two later.

Warning: Rant ahead!
So I had class in the morning, then everyone went up to Shoin's campus to meet with our language partners and a bunch of us ended up staying there until it was time to go to the baseball game. We come back from the game early since it started raining pretty badly. I walk into the kitchen and there's a pile of dishes in the sink, dirty dishes all over the tables, and the drying rack is full to the point of adding one more dish will send them all falling off. Guess who cleaned everything up? I spent no less than an hour cleaning the dirty dishes in the sink/on the table and rewashing the dishes in the drying rack because people don't
know how to wash a dish. Running your plate or spoon or whatever under cold water for two seconds IS NOT WASHING. ARGH! And then! I went to the tables and scrubbed them down. Literally scrubbed them because there was foodbits caked on and dryed sauce and stuff stuck. The water was actually black they were that dirty. SO ANNOYING. I am NOT your mother. I am NOT here to clean up after you. If you spill something on the table, CLEAN IT UP. If you're too lazy to do your dishes and put them away after they're dry, USE THE PAPER PLATES/CUPS. ALDSKFJDLAKSDJFAOIEWJFLAKSDJFI asked Miller-sensei to mention it next time we're together as a group, but it won't do anything. He and Sato-sensei and our TA have been telling us to clean up after ourselves since before we even left the states, but people don't listen.

Okay, so today we all went to Osaka. David, Jason, and I ate dinner at an all-you-can-eat sushi bar that sensei pointed out to us. $12 for all you can eat, good quality sushi (for a girl - guys had to pay 15)! You can't get that in the states!
I ate sooooo much I felt like exploding for quite a while. David came in first with 31 plates, I came in second with 27, and I think Jason just broke 20. I feel like such a pig, but I definitely got my money's worth. I normally wouldn't eat that much, but I was trying to catch up to David. He's a pretty big guy, though, so I couldn't quite make it. 
I'm going back tomorrow to explore the electronics district which is always amazing. The electronics they have here in Japan are crazy. 
Ooh! And the kitchen was actually pretty clean when I came back, too! Haven't checked the sink yet, but there wasn't cr@p all over the tables for once.

AGAIN. I ignored the mess in the kitchen for a few days to see if people would clean up their own
, and they did...sorta...for a little bit. I go to do my dishes before going to sleep and there's so much junk piled in and around the sink that I can't get my own dishes under the faucet to rinse them off! So I did the dishes. AGAIN. At least Sundip had the sense and courtesy to write me a note saying that such and such is his and he'll wash them in the morning, but everyone else just dumps their in the sink, around the sink if it doesn't fit, or leaves it on the freakin' table. And I had to wash the tables again because there were so many spills all over them and I don't want to put my books on sticky residue when I study, not to mention a few chairs with junk on them too. Sorry Ela that sucks!You should spy and see who the people are that are doing it and then when thier not around take thier dirty dishes and put them in thier beds......Maybe then they'd get the point
