Greetings and Salutations my fine spinny friends!
I'd like you all to imagine right now, me kneeling before you, with a look of utter pleading on my face...
"Please please pleeeeeeeeeeeease come help us with our 'Get Leaning House Garden back into shape' working beez?"
The story is such:
When we moved in, the place was a dump, so Flyntle did some garden work, and then it was not so much of a dump. Then Flyntle got lazy and it became an overgrown dump. And that is where we find ourselves today, with pruning, mowing, weeding, rubbish collection and lots of burning to do. (yes, I DID mention burning...)
So, we're hoping that as nice as you all are, you maybe will come help us have a working bee and get the place tidy? (so the landlord wont kick us out) and Flynt may cook yummy things to eat, and there may be pizza involved, and you might be welcome to bring along random victims, errr, I mean freinds to help with the slavery, errr, I mean drudgery, oops, i mean fun...
The Details being as follows.
Location: Leaning House Garden
Times: Saturday and Sunday, from 10am onwards
How to get there: Catch the 86 Tram (Bundoora RMIT) from Bourke St, to stop number 51, then walk to Malpas Street (the next right turn, towards the hill), number 89 which is on the right hand side of the road. You can find it on page 18 of the Melways...
Alternatively, I'll be happy to come into town to meet people if you are a bit wary of travelling on strange tram lines.... I'll be waiting at the Flinders Station Steps from 8:30 to 9 am both mornings.
Things you can bring: Gardening gloves (most important), pruning gear if you have any, and your good senses of humour! Raincoats and/or hats depending on the weather!
Would really appreciate it if you could come, bring your spinny toys too and we can go set the local oval alight in the evenings, or if you come on Sunday, head straight to spinning at Alexander Gardens

yup, i'm in flyntie, and i might try to convince the boyfriend type person that it would be a good way to show how tough he is by doing manual labour
i've got lots of gardeny toolish thingos, but not sure how many i can get away with brandishing whilst on p/t. sounds fun, i hope the weathers kind to us. fading happily....

hey flynty....I had to say something, i finally got to the end!! 91 pages of searching, sheesh - have to be so talkative dont you :P
Anyway, for the first time ever I might actually be able to turn up to something, dont count on it, but still. My plans have changed, and sunday may be free....now just to work out how best to get over the fense.
