Well Ros would have to go before she starts term again. So she suggested early Sept. I just looked at flights now, just as an estimate and it says....

SAT 7th SEPT
London (Lutton) to Paris
16:45 18:55
total= £5.40!!!

WED 11th SEPT
Paris to London (Lutton)
14:10 14:25
Total = £10.90!!

So if we book soon, thats the sort of price we'd be paying!! bargain!! When do you get back from Barcelona Cass?? What date? The we can sort it out.... YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!

OK, so i should be back from Barcelona around September 3rd or something...

So the dates sound quite good to me

I would *really* love to have you around, lovely princesses and I'll make some yummy crepes and thai food, I promise would my beloved brother come as well ?

i need to check one last thing though : I am currently staying at my parents since I have no more place of my own because i am leaving soon to travel and need to save money. Soooo... I need to check with them that it'd be OK and they won't be around. they are usually spending the whole summer outside of Paris which is why they let me use their appartment ... soo.. I shall check that with them next week if that's cool with you and will get back on that as soon as I know

and now, am I not breaking one of the HOP rules that says we are not supposed to have private conversations on teh board ?

i want to see I want to see, show me, show me

I love it for sisters and friends to invade my intro thread, darling

Here are some more recepies...

Jab Chai

300g cabbage
300g Chinese herbs (your guess is as good as mine)
300g Chinese broccoli
300g celery
200g leek
300g mushrooms
3-4 coriander root
4-5 cloves garlic
½ block firm tofu, fried in oil first
palm sugar
salt
soy sauce
oil
thick soy sauce

Directions: Prepare all vegetables and cut into big pieces. In the mortar pound the garlic and coriander root together. Fry in a wok with oil then add all vegetables, tofu, mushrooms. Add water and sauces ~ about 20 minutes.

Pineapple Curry
1 cup tofu
3 cups coconut milk
1 cup pineapple
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon palm sugar
1 tablespoon red curry paste

Directions: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok and stir fry red curry paste for 2 minutes. Add coconut milk and stir constantly until curry paste is dissolved. Add tofu and bring to a boil. Then add pineapple and cook for another 10 minutes. Add palm sugar and soy sauce.

Somtum Spicy Papaya Salad

2 cups finely chopped young papaya
2 tomatoes cut into small pieces
5 hot chillies
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon palm sugar
2 tablespoons lime juice
¼ - ½ cup pounded peanuts
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions: Pound together chilli and garlic until fine and put in a mixing bowl. Add palm sugar, lime, soy sauce and blend until sugar is dissolved. Add chopped papaya and tomatoes. Toss well until well mixed. Place to serving plate lined with lettuce or morning glory, and long beans.
Note: Best to use a grater to shred the young papaya.

I've got more in my magic bag, but that's for later

Enjoy

cassandra, hugest hugs to you lass (then swings her around in circles!) i would have to say cassandra, that you bring out the best in people.

recipe addendum: some people put the tiny shreds of pickled crab in the papaya salad, but i could never stomach it. and served with fresh morning glory leaves also.
