nope, they are actually both my names. usually people call me Danae , Cassandra being my middle name (is that how you call it in english) ?

It's just that when I first joined the BB, I was affraid it'd be packed with psychopaths and did not want to give my first name right away...

Hey everybody! I just realized that I had never introduced myself...no mean to be rude...I've really enjoyed HOP so far! I'm really glad that I stumbled upon all of you, a lot of fellow local spinners I have tried to talk with are kind of secretive and elusive maybe they are spies or something, I don't know. Anyway here's a bit of a bio.

Name: Celeste
Sex: Female
Age: 24
Location: Birmingham, Alabama USA

Occupation: struggling artist (painter, photographer, preformer)

Toys: Fire fingers, fans, poi, staff, I'm working on making a fire jump rope too. I also breathe fire, but it still scares the crap out of me, which I guess is a good thing.

Favorite Books: "Story of O" and "On the Road"

Favorite Movie: Peter Greenaway's "The Pillowbook"

Favorite Music to spin to: Drum circles, my
favorite inparticular is spinning while my roommates drum, and a good friend of ours plays the fute. (Flute is great for belly dancing with fire fingers/fans in my opinion.)

Best fire moment: Every time I light up is special, but I will never forget the first time I lit my poi or learned how to blow fire.

Also, I must mention that my dog ejoys drum circles and spinning also, or at least it seems like he does.
No, I haven't caught him on fire. He usually sits in the middle of the drummers and watches.

Take it easy everyone!

Life is serious, but art is fun!

Celeste, You might want to start a thread here about yourself, and let the world know who you are!

I would also like to add that Cassandra is a bright and beautiful spirit, who even when she is feeling low goes out of her way to bring a smile to the faces of others.
She has an amazingly optimistic attitude, which is very infectious.
She has a very wonderful boyfriend, but I would count her as the better half of those two!
She also has a lovely phone voice!

Valura,

Speaking as a purebred Yankee, Marmite and Vegemite are abominations that should be smitten from this earth.

I once tried just a tiny bit of Vegemite and I nearly lost my breakfast.

Ick.

Peace.

You should be more careful what you do with your breakfast in future Mike. Then, maybe you won't lose it. If you always leave it in the same place after a while you realise it's always there.

Lucky I was here to help you, I think....

Kyrian, there's still plenty of cheese in the fridge. There's an array of cakes and pastries too if you want any.

Ros explained to me how to get accents on your letters today but it doesn't seem to work. So maybe I wasn't listening. Ask her, she knows.

I think Cassandra is cheating and has a French keyboard.

I want to know how Draevon gets that little squiggle in his D. But that's another story....
