Sorry to hear about the bullying incident - people can be proper Bas*%*ds!!

Hows about using 'Guyding Light' as a stage name?

Thank you for the suport on the bullying i had other stuff that happened there there was a lot and i have been through it and delt with it mostly.
the fact is that Guy Fawkes just has a few memories and i would preffer to have something a little different. i do fire staff poi, electro staff poi, and stilts and angle grinding, as well as stage martial arts. as i say any ideas?

How about Guyle...since 'guile' means crafty and artful

im also very sorry about the bullying, but i think Dentrassi has a good idea....it would be like laughing at the bullies, show them that you are better than them and their crap! .....but thats just me....it might honestly hurt you too much...

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here

you can probably approach it from a systematic method.

start off writing every possible spelling of Guy - gui(de), gy, something like that....

then brainstorm any words which have those letters with the right sound. eg guiding

they used the main vowel sound - the 'uy' of 'guy', can also be spelt i [as in like], - brainstorm any words to do with anything related to flames, explosions, fuel, magic - anything like that.

see what you come up with and what you can adapt.

did that make any sense? im not sure it did. i think i should go to bed.

If your not too fussed about meaning, you can always take the sci-fi fanasty approach to name creation...

Run notepad
Turn off your monitor
just looking at the keyboard type random letters in the following sequence:
consonant, vowel, consonent, vowel, consonent, vowel...
so on and so on, until you think you've got enough letters.

these 4 took about 5 seconds...

Gamidolem
Lowikma
Delowika
Tolemokanu

You do get some sh*te, but sometimes you get a really good one...

I quite like Tolemokanu.

He was the scapegoat for a spanish-led (if I recall correctly) plot several hundred years ago to blow up the English Houses of Parliament by smuggling multiple large barrels of gunpowder underneath the building. The conspirators plot was discovered a few hours before the lot was supposed to blow, and they were all arrested, tried, and executed (hanged, drawn and quartered, I think). I'm not sure why Guy(Guido) Fawkes is remembered in particular, as there were quite a few, but he is.

As a result, the UK has their biggest fireworks display on November 5th every year, the date of the arrest of the plotters, in commemoration of what might have happened to the parliamentary building. The tradition is also to build a large bonfire, on which sits a "Guy", who is burnt, and is the representation of the above mentioned Guy Fawkes.

I can't remember enough of the details offhand, but google may well help here.

So I presume you're not in the UK?

Guy Fawkes is a chap who tried to burn down ( or rather blow up!) the Houses of Parliament in London quite a long time ago, he was discovered before he had the chance to set his fuse and was then burnt to death as punishment on top of a big fire.
On each anniversary in the UK (5th November) we remember this happy time by lighting a bonfire and putting a fake person (usually made of old clothes stuffed with paper) on top to remember the torturous way he died.
It's like celebrating a bad thing, in a bad way, but making it appealing to kids and families and giving them the opportunity to burn their hands off with fireworks and sparklers, much like the Yankie Thanks Giving!

On the plus side it's a great excuse to spin Fire!!
