Another exit I saw once: the performer brought the orbital to behind his head, then swung the orbital forward in a big extended arc while kicking his knee or foot. When the knee/foot made contact with the Poi heads, it reversed the direction of the orbital and the Poi heads unwrapped (along with making a dramatic flame burst upon kick contact).
