"I love my new fuzzy poi! What a treat. I have suffered through every version of homemade poi imaginable...stuffed socks the beans in a bag the hacky sack conversion the tennis balls with pebbles inside hanging on dog-collar chain... Whew! I'm so glad I finally treated myself to a real pair of poi! I did have to put them on to ball chain (only a few measly dollars from local hardware store) so that they had more weight and better spin-ability (ball chain rotates beautifully whereas the string they come on tends to get twisted up and knotted too easily) but once I did that they were great! I do wish that they were slightly heavier but I can live with that issue. (Ideas anyone?). Thanks Home of Poi! Great product. Buy two because when you're spinning YOUR pair your friends will want to try it too!"
