Hey, I've not introduced under this nick so here goes for all of y'all - feel free to converse with me if you find the urge arises (especially if you're from Cape Town!)...

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up): I hope to never have to work for another person out of necessity, but once i've had my stint raising cash one way or another, I'd like to retire to a house in the woodlands (maybe in Canada) where I can relax, play poi and experiment until the end of my days.
Favorite Music Genres: Psy-Trance, Hip Hop (only real + meaningful rhyming & skillful turntablism), some rock (accross various genres), ambient & experimental electronic stuff like Mr Oizo, Aphex Twin, etc. Some unplugged stuff too - nothing beats the sound of a real instrument!
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Devonshire clotted cream (cannot be rivaled in any dimension by any other flavour, recipe or icey dessert)

thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I am holidaying back in SA in Jan/Feb next year, but am pretty much sticking to the east coast for those three weeks. Next time though ey?

A category for fire performance has been added to the S.A. National champs for performing arts.This competition's been around for years and they have categories for just about everything showbiz (exept fire dance, up to now). semi finals start early Feb all over the country leading up to the finals in Rustenburg 19 - 27 April. I'll post more details about prizes, judging and all that as i get to know it. I've got entry forms (info@magicstunts.co.za) or keep an eye on our website https://www.magicstunts.co.za

Heh. Reviving this one a bit I think.
Till I looked at the date-stamps, I was quite excited.
Anyway, as far as I know, stuff is still happening in the Observatory area. Otherwise, there is a big meet on one of the beaches, but am not sure where, or which. I am sure you can make contacts with people there.
