Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.
The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.
Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!
So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens
St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)
The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)
With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

Got inspired again by the enthousiasm, talent and really above all the friendliness which i missed... this is a precious thing, real real precious which needs to be cared for and cultivated... it is LOVELY
It was also really magic to catch up and share hugs with old friends too : Bender, Jen, Calan and Anna
and even Dan Pyroptix who makes good crepes 
...and I have to say i enjoyed actually spinning which is so nice as well for i truely had fallen out of love with it all in the past two years...

i never ended up telling you the end of that story cass, the ice cream was a bit overwhelming and i lost my train of thought.
not too sure exactly who bought the ice cream bowls, but they're safe and sound and clean at my place. i'll bring em next week.

hehe i feel bla if i look at all the sweet stuff righ tnow i think it was definatly an overload....oh and stalker man found me again just as i was gettin on the train grrr he sat next to me and didnt shutup the whole time...telling me he likes vodka or something ...

iran onto the traina and i wasnt sure whether he saw me or not thought i might of been safe buuuuut he did coz he walked out of his way to come and sit next to me well this time across from me becuase i put my bag on the seat so he couldnt get too close hmmmm how do i get rid of him aaaaaargh damn freaky people! hug me!

soooooooo sorry i missed the twirl this sunday i got very dunk on satday then we started drinking teqiula at 12:00 on sunday we thought it is bad to drink before then so we all got very very drunk i coulnt stand up at 5oclock then we got a lift but me the dumbass wanted to do a burnout and it went bad so sorry all that wanted to meet me i,m pissed i had to break my promises well love all u deries see u at the next meet not DRUNK

alas, no fire this weekend, the nasty exams start this coming monday, but end on friday.
was thinking about another theme(ish) night for sunday week, not icecream this time. any ideas. i shall be staying til my last train that day, not a measly 9:30 *yay*

Sounds awesome!..but
I've been looking forward to coming to a meet again for ages but it sounds like it's starting to defeat the purpose of twirling...maybe just a little bit?
If I'm way off then I'm sorry, just disregard everything I've said here. I could be completely off track.
...but as long as there is still twirling and not just sitting around every week eating then I'll still continue to make the trip down as much as I can...but if not then it seems like a bit of a waste of money and fuel.
I'm sorry if that sounds harsh! I don't mean for it to be!

Gee, nice to feel wanted.
Couldn't come because first week I was practicing with my new band. We normally practice on Wednesdays, so that shouldn't be a problem in the future.
Last weekend I was absolutely stuffed. Worked Friday night 1am-7:30am back at 12pm-7:30pm then back again from 3:30am till 8am. The only good thing about that was the thought of a big paycheck next week.
Should be able to come this Sunday although i'm on call for work again.

Roar, if you twirl or not its up to you.
There are people who come Sunday nights just to twirl, no other reason, and then there are people who come to be social and maybe do some spinning as well.
The point is that we all meet up and spin if we want. We arent gonna force anyone to spin, and if they just wanna hang out, then they can. I'm sorry if you think that's a waste of time and fuel, but you are always welcome to spin if you want to.
also, ataxia was referring to the people who said they missed him, so dont hide!

albeit a F***ING COLD ONE!!! bring lots of blankets kids.PS it just occured to me that cars also require fuel and to drive somewhere for no reason would therefore be wasting fuel. as i am a public transport boy this didnt occur to me before at all.
