Pre-Final update before the convention:
Indian Juggling Convention
The website has not been updated yet, so pls find the following info:
Location: Mandrem Beach @ Goasis/ Sunset Resort, next to Prawn facory
(just 5 min's drive / 20 min's walk south of A'bol)
Schedule: January 5th to 10th, 10am to 10pm
Workshops: 10am to 6pm
Open performances: 6pm to 10pm
Gala Show: January 11th (full moon) doors open 6pm (evening ends 10pm)
Workshops: Free
Yoga, Arcoyoga, Acrobalance, Fire(Dancing) - (Contact)Staff, Poi, Fans, Sword- Juggling (Balls, Clubs, Rings, Contact), Hoola Hoop, Clowning, Streetperformance, Choreography, Aerials, etc.
Healing Area
Restaurant Area (water refills for cheap)
Shopping Area
Music all day, Life music after 6pm
Wednesday 7th: Childrens day
Tickets sell at 200Rs/day (100Rs. after 6pm)
Weekly tickets 1000Rs (pre-reg rate still valid)
Camping is not possible on the convention and you need to buy your ticket on the "landside" - beach access is possible, just no ticket counter there.
Rooms are available near the convention in Madrem, starting from 4-500Rs/ night, more accomodation available in Arambol, starting from 250Rs./ night and finally there are Teepees in Ashwem, starting from 100Rs./night (but you will need transportation, as the Teepee village is approx. 10min's drive (depending on type of transport

It's been an insane amount of work before and on the convention, which could only be mastered with the help of:

We had a wonderful shopping area, that added another touch of beauty with the Pixie crew, Olivier, Lucca, Jerome and many more.
All in all there have been about 2.000 ppl visiting the convention in these 6 days - most of them in the evening to watch the theme nights, most of them on Saturday night.
I was not bowing to the demands for bribe to the local administration and police, so they came on Saturday during the fire jam to shut us down - for this fact I'd like to offer a public apology.
I don't want to go into details as the court case is still pending, only stating that I spent 24hrs in police custody. I expected worse, but the cell was clean and I didn't have to stand with my back to the wall at any time.
The news about this spread all over the state like wildfire and the fame and recognition I still receive due to this event is not comforting me - I'm not doing this for the fame and people don't really care who is the person behind the face.
So I'm sweeping up the remains now, clear my files and prepare to leave India asap, taking a holiday in Thailand until the dust settled and those who all of a sudden reckon to know me finish their holidays. Thereafter I'll come back here to wrap up my house and think about my bad self.
The InJuCo is alive and we will have a gala show - this Monday.
I'm already in gentle preparation of next season.
Trust me, this has been an invaluable (learning) experience for me and next time everything will be in place even before the doors open.
Another compliment to all the crew involved - without you I wouldn't have been able to make it happen. Thanks for your support and generosity - due to which the InJuCo 2010 is pre-financed already.
