Hey everyone,
Sage is going to be teaching poi and staff workshops in New York on 6/16 and 6/17. She will be teaching beginning level poi and beginning level single staff classes that will focus on warm ups with specialized stretches, techniques, body movement, level changes, transitions and dancing. She will also be holding a intermediate/advanced poi workshop which will focus on all the same things except for more advanced moves. Each session costs $45 and is limited to a max of 15 people per class.
Sage has been spinning and performing with poi and staff for about 11 years and teaching for 7. Her studies include tribal and cabaret belly dancing along with West African, hip hop and some martial arts, and she fuses the fire dancing with all of these.
