Now with the glorious weather, (let’s hope it stays) I am looking to meet people who live or would like to spin in or around Camden. We could share knowledge and have some fun. Hopefully make some new friends. Or if any one knows any groups or anything that would be great thank you!

I'm very curious about 'The Spot', so might show up some time if this happens again in the future.
However, I have to trek bloody miles to get to any meets so apologies in advance if i become a stander-upper.

OK, Saturday Aug 19 is good for me!! Let get a big one going, and make it the 1st properly offical fully organized general purpose CAMDEN SPINNING MEET. YAY! If that goes well, we'll do another one on the 26th.
Put the date in your diaries people, no excuses (including me), keep it free. It would be wicked if this became a regular thing, so I'll do the organizing if needs be. I'll try and get a few people down that I know, I suggest any interested parties plug this too. We want loads of people, it will seem more official that way.
So, meeting time will be 5.00 outside Oddballs. Post on this thread if you're coming... Bad weather shouldn't be a problem, as the spot is in a park under a bridge.
I'll post up here at midday on that saturday to let you lot know whether it's on or off (depending how many people we get) as per SolarBear's suggestion
. If it's on, I'll be there!
Any queries as to location/timing/any other random questions, PM me.

Yeah, Mrdimmu is bringing me down, SamboFlux dont worry i can already weave (sorta). I've been to a few manchester meets and they are great, so im hoping that these ones are equally good, maybe even better.

Early september it is then. I (coincidentally) also have a weeding to go to on the 2nd, but after that I'm pretty much free. I'm moving house on the 14th, so I'll be fairly occupied around that time, but after that I'm free and easy with absolutely no commitments, so it's go from then....

Okey dokey people, the next camden meet (which hopefully will be the first official one of many) will be on SATURDAY 21st OCTOBER. Come down, hopefully there will be fun and frolics!
The plan is meet outside Oddballs at 4.00 (not set in stone, open to suggestions). Once people have showed up, we'll head to the spinning spot, which is situated here and get cracking! No set finishing time, but after we've all exhausted, bruised, battered and possibly singed ourselves, it's to The Worlds End for drinks and revelry
This is stilll early stages, so if people are interested and up for it and have any suggestions, lets have em! Hopefully this will turn out to be good...

anyhows just thought we could add something about this to our sigs for the next week. unless it's considered "illegal" advertising - but if any mods have a problem just say and it's gone - i think it may help spread the word...
