Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.
Location: Logan City, south of Brisbane, QLD, Oz.

DOB: 17/09/1969
Age: 36 and counting...

Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.

Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...
Favorite TV show(s): Don't watch tv.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I really... wish... I knew.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Lately... Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, JBT, Blue King Brown, Donavon Frankeneiter, Rob Sawyer, The Waifs... blues/roots stuff.

poor little cleaning fairies. They were doing such a good job until the fish fight and toast crumbs. Pat, your thread is a mess, but its a fun, homely mess at least.
So are you coming to Polytronic? I just bought one of those japanese basket hats (for the tree planting day), some big paper laterns and candles for lighting our camp and moooore doofing/picknick blankets.

I do hope so, pip... @ this stage, my presence and the length of my stay is contingent on how much work I get done between now and then... and how much I think I can get done in the following week
I have a project (from my @ home job) that needs to go live next thursday and because I didn't get to start my contribution to the project till everyone else was finished, it's all waiting on me...
have worked through till 2am the last 2 mornings, up @ 6:30am to get to "real" job... work 9-10 hours (catching up on the missed monday), home by 6:30pm to start work till 2am again... I can last a surprisingly long time like that

I've got 50 metres of bubble wrap here at work i'm sure we can cover things. Including me *teehee* oooh its just like a dream i had. (sssh don't go there) oooh where was i.... Ok 2nd week in Sept it is. Miss chicken can we do dinner too soon.

Bubble wrap wedding dress - $249.00!!!!!!!!! WTF. I seriously hope no one has ever been that ridiculously stupid to purchase such a thing. On another note i do like the blouse. Or was it under the blouse.... not sure but you get my point i think. Yes there was a point
