Hey lovely Moonfesties!*:.
Well, it’s that time again… yummy fruits to feast on those hot humid days… the smell of summer blossoms in the warm summer breeze… Must be time for the SUMMER Moonfests!!!
The summer ones are always a bit bigger than the winter ones… as people are more willing to come out from there snuggley warm homes and run around under the moonlight frolicking about on the beach*:.
So the Summer and 2006 Moonfest dates are………………::::::*

Moonfest is a drug and alcohol free gathering at Moora Park Shorncliffe foreshore. Every full moon from Sundown (or earlier in the arvo for a juggle jam play and picnic) Bring along your instruments, drums, fire toys (+ fuel & safety gear) twirly whirly toys and magick makers… dress up.. Have a ball…bring your friends, have fun and frolic under the luminous Moon and sparkling stars*:… bring a picnic dinner, or grab a bight to eat from the local Café on the Park… Please take ALL your rubbish and belongings with you when you leave…..:* Moonfest is for fun!*:. Come and BE the festival…. Festive*all …. ALL FESTIVE… It is the beautiful people who come along each month that make this gathering such a gorgeous one… so thank YOU beautiful people! Moonfest is growing into its 10th year!*:. It will be our 10 year anniversary this coming Spring Moonfest (Friday 8th September 2006) So a huge big thankyou to all of you for coming along each month and making this the amazing beautiful thing it has grown to be. …………::::*

Cairns is a lovely place and so chilled out!
Got a ticket now to Brisbane the 11:th. Landing 8:15 on the morning!
The thing is that I dont know anyone over there so is there a friendly soul that wanna hook up and just show me around?
Any gatherings before the moonfest and after the 11:th?
Do anyone know where to stay? Cheap places are the best places! Or do anyone have a sofa :P

Do you know if anyone has any possibility to make a pickp at the airport and show me around and for that I free poi lessons
It would be more fun than to take a taxi, find a hostel and then go out and spin for myself

Thomas - In Brissy there is a fun juggle jam every monday night you might want to get along to, loads of spinners and wonderful people. I can't tell you where it is because I dont rememeber but any of these guys would prob know. I will def be down there playing when I too find out where it is.

juggle jam is @ southbank piazza, eveish/thomas... and is fab, from what I've heard, because in the 2 1/2 weeks that I've been twirling, I've been too slack to get there...

Well Thomas, everyone's probably waiting for me to put my hand up; usually I leap up to offer my place as accommodation to travelling HoPers. But this time I am very close to leaving for travelling myself, we have people moving in and out of the house.. it's a bit chaotic, sorry!
