I think everyone should bear in mind that cats are creatures that are known to mutilate small furry animals to amuse themselves, anyone who has seen a cat play with a mouse or pull a bird to pieces even when it has been fed will understand.

Anyway, it is cruel.
I laughed anyway. Not for any deep philosophical reason or due to any inherent evil (come on, I'm a pediatrician for crying out loud! How much more harmless can ya get?) but because laughter is an involuntary thing.
Cruel. Hilarious, yes, but really cruel.

I abhor any kind of cruelty to animals, and its people like them that deserve to be shot. But it doesnt excuse the fact the poor cat has probably suffered so much of that.

I have 2 cats, love them both to death and still found it funny. It's not cruel if the cat doesn't mind it. One of my cats lies on his back and waits for you to push him upside down across the floorbaords. Then he comes back for more. Is that cruel too?
