in short its more to do with motivational and emotional behaviours, along with the hypothalamus is the offactory bulb, hippocampus (think u mixed them up), amygdala and cingulate gyrus which make up the limbic system (the outer part of the inside of the brain) in the cerebral cortex. the main functions of the hypothalamus include hypothalamic hormones which send messages to the pituitary gland, altering its release in hormones (that are sent to the organs) and so affects motivated behaviours such as feeding, drinking, temperature regulation, sexual behaviour, fighting or activity level.
the hippocampus on the other hand is more to do with certain memorys.

i did try to avoid answering lol because it would be a longwinded answer tongue

Damn Jen, i bow down in your presence.
From now on the only subjects you and i will be able to have open and equal convo's on, are: *The colour blue.
*Rain.
* Hitting one's self with frying
pans.
* And, uncooked jelly.
Any other subjects are sure to make me look stupid! ubbloco

Did you enjoy poiing in the Parade? Were you offically hired to do it or did you do it for shits and giggles? Man, i love performing infront of crowds! such a buzz biggrin

If you dont mind me asking, are you a friend of Dorothys or just love the crowds too? smile

Man, do it anyway, if you have offers. You'll learn so much by doing it as work.
Before i came to spain i was performing in a club in Faliraki, doing fire outside and u.v. poi inside. I learned sooo much in those months.
I was so nervous in the first night as i'd never done it for money before and doubted my own ability, but after a rip-roring night, i was full of confidence.

My suggestion: just do it dude. You'll love it. And whats more, you'll be astonished that people are willing to pay you to do something you love and would be doing anyway.
