hi guys,
this is my first time in hop and damn if im not impressed. just found this site while i was searching for all things poi. just got onto poi after being hooked on staff for many a year. ive got all the basic poi stuff down pat now (after a few knocks and bruises), and was just looking to see if there was anyone else in brissy into twirling. a bit about myself

Sex: skipping the obvious answer - male
Location: brisvegas, queensland. or the sunny/gold coast when the surfs up
Favourite Toys: brand spankin new poi's and my trusty old home made staff
Been twirling since: staff since 99, poi since - 4 weeks ago
How did you get into it: mates got me into it at a few memorable parties where i managed to set myself on fire
Occupation: professional student/timefiller
Hobbies: all things beach, surfing especially, twirling, music, drinking, being social and the odd bit of reading
Music: punks the way to go but i wont say no to a bit of surf rock. getting into goldfrapp to jump off the genre though
Favourite Books/Authors: power of one, most all sci fi - fantasy, philosophy books in general and anything by david gemmell
Favourite Movies: donnie darko, usual suspects, fargo, lotr, willow and sunshie for the spotless mind
random fact: when it comes to surfing longboards always win over short in my books, dman its fun just chilling on a long lazy left - just as good as a sweet twirling session.
