hello burners!
I got put onto this site by an old friend back in welli nz today and I'm totally digging it, I'm from nz myself and wandering the world a bit at the moment, right now I'm in montreal canada and will be til about october when I most likely will go to taiwan via london to teach english before going to india in may 06, HEHE!! how's that we just met and you know my plans for for the next year or so! biggrin
Wicked, well now that we're on familiar terms.. if you're around montreal I'd love to have a spin- so far twirlers that I have ran into have been pretty far and few between so it would make me most stoked to find some more or even better to tap into a crew, WOOT!!
cheers muchly, lu

Hi and welcome, Lu! Bit envious you're currently a world wanderer, and will be particularly envious come May 06! Anyway.. yes. Now that we're on familiar terms, you should come over for tea sometime biggrin

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Awesome! Hello and nice to meet you all grouphug
I'd love to come for a spot of tea Ry! ..pity it maybe a while in the coming tho but I believe it can be done.. hug
Ok Pete this stumped me for a bit cos there are many things I would like to buy in a hardware store (if I didn't have to carry them on my back around the world biggrin) but I think it would have to be a power drill, asides from the fact that I could use it on most of the toys I like to make and play with they're also so damn fun RARG! bounce2 bounce2 bounce bounce bounce2 bounce
thanks peterg and bird, awfully lovely to be graced by your company,
may we all burn together one day, lu kiss

YHAHA!! excellent... come worship the fire gods with us!
thanks for the welcomes guys, this site is great, I got a msg from a member and I've only just now gotten back from a month long trip around the east side of the states with him ubbrollsmile
We helped out with 2 youth circuses in boston (simply circus and open air circus both of which are really cool) visited the jugglers cafe in north carolina and swam at the beach which was as warm as the water in hawaii oo lala! created a doubles fire poi act that we performed at the opening night of the firelake fest in south carolina, helped out with house of play (a contact stall) at the rennaisance fair in New York, and wait for it... went to cirque du soliel in Ohio, we saw Varekai, it was my first time seeing them live and man it was soo inspiring, the entire time was such a sensory overload with so many places to look, incredible talent, costumes everything... aaah!
anyhows I'm still about in montreal til oct 1st, then london for a week or so then taiwan, so I'd love to play with anyone anywhere hug
happy fire worshipping to you all, love lu xox
ps I had such a wicked time adam, I can't wait to travel with you again!

thank you pigeon wigeon I just maybe doing that a month from now biggrin
how do you find london to live in? my brother lived there briefly and had a really hard time of it.. I'm just passing through at this point but I plan to go back and maybe grab up my grandparent entry thing and do a better run of europe a few years from nowish.
Thanks Tink L.Pants what are your favourite spinables? I mainly twirl poi but lately that's been shelfed slightly for crystal stix and sphere, I'm also travelling with some small double fire staff I made and would love to hear of sites or something where I could learn more about them.
