Hello People of Poi, Its good to finally meet you guys.
My real Name is Alex and I'm just starting to learn Poi from PyroWill. I have known Will for the last year as I am on the same course as him at Lincoln University in Hull. I was the Art Director on our film "Issac" that I see some of you have watched. But now the first year has finished I have time for poi! Yeah!
So here are some facts:
Name: Alex
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Loaction: Leicester, Hull and maybe Nuneaton and on the outside Liverpool, Birmingham or Cambridge (like a shadow!)
Poi?: Wills pretty good and asked if I wanted to learn since then I've look at its history which lets face it is well cool so the real question is why not poi?
Occuptation: Student, Padawan, Dwarfer, Artist, Graphic Designer
Music: Linkin Park to U2, Natalie Imbruglia to Embrace, Keane to Feeder, Delerium to Rob Dougan, Delirious to Third Day, etc.
Book: Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Robert Jordan, Douglas Adams
Movies: LOTR, King Arthur, Sci fi stuff, Gladiator,etc.
Colours: Green, Red and Blue. Purple for a lady.

and though looking a little sheepish is very warmed by the welcome. Yeah lived in Nuneaton for three years worked at Blockbuster went to KECs and was invlved in some youthwork with Cords (YWAM). Will be back there soon hopefully.

and i have lived in the pooh hole all my life grrr so neeed to get out. i could take you to the juggling club, we need more poi people *Plans on taking over world with Poiso if your ever in town give us a nudge and we'll meet up.

I have one of Terry Goodkind's books that have been lent to me by another guy from University, but am still on the wheel of time series. I tend to take my fantasy in small doses. I prefer my Sci fi slightly more. Knights, Heraldry, Chivalry and Christianity is really where its at tho!! A good story and a good message is why I'm a film maker- Hence Isaac
