Actually I just realised something. They cropped out the top of my picture! The tip of the hand should be visible frown

Looks like I'll be writing to them today.

Well now that so many wonderful photo appreciating people are in here, I'll treat you all to a link to one of my favourite photographers (I had the fortune to stumble across in the vast sea which is photo.net).

What he does is a technique he calls lightbrushing (which some of you poi photographing people might understand a bit easier), where he sets up a scene in total darkness, opens his shutter for a long exposure, then uses various torchlights (sometimes coloured) to 'paint' his subject onto the film.
