Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.
The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.
Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!
So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens
St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)
The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)
With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Message to all Melbourne spinners:
Traditionally the spinning meet location changes from the three trees location at Alexandria gardens to under the St Kilda road bridge once Daylight Savings ends.
Seeing as Daylight Savings ends this sunday (tomorrow), and given that the weather is meant to be good tomorrow, I suggest we meet at the Alexandria gardens location as normal tomorrow and get some more fire action done tomorrow to send off our summer

I though I was going to come on the last Sunday, but turned out we were headed somewhere else.
This sucked big time becaues I made a HUGE AS cake for everyone (especially for Petey, to say happybirthday and have a good trip).
but anyway, we had to eat te cake. Good Cake.

basically worked on fire-hoop shots. They're difficult to capture as the smaller wicks throw off less light. Got some great shots of bons and ezz tho

OK. I'm now doing shift work so some mondays I start after lunch and I'm keen to start dropping in on the sunday sessions when I can. What time and wheres the easiest place to park.
