This is a poll to see whether us westcountry poiples have our own meet for the sphercularHOP Day 2004 or go to a different one.

OK... Not wanting to sound completely ignorant on this: I'm completely ignorant on this.
If I go back to Litech on friday what exactly should I ask for? Do we want decks? Do we have anyone to man them? I've got a couple of cool psytrance mix CDs that we can just put on and let run. Do we want lights?
And where the hell are we gonna sleep? Tents under the aquarium?
I'm not panicking!

Standalone speakers?...
any speakers which have a phono lead coming out the back of them, surely we could scrounge one or two and I have the connectors to wire them into an ipod or anything else with a normal headphone jack come to think of it, hell, a walkman could be used if it really came to that but the batteries would run out pretty quick.

I have a bright idea.....
Why don't 6 - 8 of you chip in for a caravan. You'll get your own rooms then and don't have to worry about the rain. If it gets too wet all go to one caravan and get wrecked.
If the weather is OK (although i doubt that
) then you're sorted. If you all chip in for the caravan for 1 or 2 nights then surely that won't be that much (and you're be dry) StoneT - how much were the caravans and did they have any left??At the moment i will pop down from Bristol on either Friday night or Saturday daytime unless something with the caravans is sorted. So if somebody wants a lift from Bristol let me know.
StoneT - can you PM me your number so i can ring you when i arrive and find out where you are.

i cant come anymore i have to stay in crappy exeter to do some stuff for my friends
but i think we should all meet again sometime in the near future for a little spin for a night or something when theres a bit of good weather or something
hope you all have a great time and can get accomidation of some sort.

I have quite a few psy trance CD's but nothing to play them on, I'm working Friday day and it looks like my mates at sea so I'll probably be missioning it up on the train on Satruday.

Feel the vibe...ALL: I guess if the weather is reasonable (dry) we will be on Sand-bay beach or the nearby campsite most of the time. If not We will probably be under the sea life center in the evenings or... in the mall (?) during the day.
As I say I'll try to sort out a mobile but failing that I'll see if samarkle would be willing to distribute his number.

I think it will just be me and SDLW. Most of the bristol lot are off to Sheffield i think. I'll come Sat afternoon and maybe friday night if it's dry and fire's on the agenda!

ok, if you give me a call any time on Friday then we could meet up squire.
about the speakers, they could be powered from the walkman or whatever but it would drain the batteries pretty quick so we'd need a recharger

I have a feeling we are thinking on different scales with these speakers
I'm thinking 12" 600W ground-shakers, wonderful though i'pods are I don't think they deliver the power for more than 1 second (approx)... [thinking]
...however, I could just nick the speakers from my stereo at home and use them. Wouldn't exactly blow you away but better than nothing.
We'll see how much a gennie is and then decide

6 birth caravan from friday to sunday all gas / elec included £90
(If we fill it that's £7.50 per person per night for the ones slower amongst us)
Hopfully we can get a few more than 6 in though...
Ahhhhhh..... another sigh of relief! I can relax for the first time in a fortnight.
