a sweet talented crazy nutter told me i needed to do an intro thread...again...so here it goes!!!

i've been twirling poi for a while now...maybe a year? i'm still pretty crap, but i have fun!! 
fave colour: in no particular order...red, blue, black, orange and purple!!!
fave movie: amelie, kill bill (1&2), moulin rouge, shrek (1&2!), and lots of others i can't think of now!
fave music: lots of different bands! too many to mention here!!! but i spose i better give you some...whitlams, waifs, john bulter trio, marilyn manson, rob zombie, jimmy styles & the easy company (triple j unearthed!!), missy higgins, george, augie march, cat empire, gorgeous...and a ton of others!!!
fave food: don't really have one...but i love chocolate!!
fave book: the power of one (bryce courtenay) & the bride stripped bare (anonymous)
ummm...what else? my family is totally nuclear...mum, dad & two kids...the folks have even been married for 28 years! yikes!
ummm...i'm single again and enjoying it at the moment!! (was with this guy for over 4 years, and it's been strange adjusting to just doing what i want without worrying about anyone else!! but i'm loving it!!!)

i love the zoo!! it's not too far from my place (well, relatively anyway!!) it's only a ten minute(?!maybe...) train ride!!

well yesterday was friday the 13th! usually it's a pretty good day for me! and yesterday was!!!!! until i hurt my knee
when i finished uni i joined this professional body (cos it always looks good on the cv!!), and last night was their agm. i went because the guest speaker was a woman i have not seen in 5 years! you should have seen her face when she walked in, sat down and looked up to see me waving at her!! she nearly died!!
it was sooooo good to see her! and she had a friend with her who i also knew & hadn't seen since way back then either!! awesome!!!!then i went to a friends house for our friday ritual! we get dressed up, have a few drinks then head to the club we always go to!! nothing odd there, till i am standing near the pool table & see a chickie i went to uni with and haven't seen in almost 2 years!!!!!
(we don't seem to have a graemlin that can express how i was feeling then!!) we jumped around and hugged a lot and probably looked awfully silly!! *teehee* and she even tried to set me up with some of her single friends!! but then i had to go and try and make my friend liz dance. liz doesn't dance. and my knee clearly doesn't like me to apply much pressure. it crunched, and i buckled...i hit the floor real fast! i am SO glad i was already drunk otherwise i would have been screaming and crying and lying there for a long time!! (i know, cos that's what i did last time!) way back in high school (7 years now
) i strained a knee ligament...and then i did it again christmas day 2 years ago. that sure didn't tickle!! so i know how much it freakin hurts! at least this time i don't need crutches - it ain't so bad!! yay!!! so that kinda killed the night (sorta...i left 3 hours later! *teehee*)
but usually good luck OR bad luck comes in 3s...good ole friday the 13th! i had 2 good luck and 1 bad luck!!

i got a job!! i got an actual real job!!!! YAY!!!
stoked doesn't begin to cover it!! i'm finally heading towards the job i want!!! yay!!!
now - instead of being a freakin market researcher/unemployed - i am a support worker! i'm working on a work skills course for young people!! yay!!!! joy joy joy joy joy joy joy!!!!!!!!!

lots happening!! i'm sick *joy* & it's my second last day at my job!! and i have an interview for another (dodgy) job this arvo!!
oh the lunch van just got here! (not that i've ever eaten anything off it - it's a bit too scary for little ole vegematarian me
) so that means it's break time! i'm gonna wait for my boss to get back (hopefully soon *crosses fingers*) & then i'll go home i think. i hate being sick...and he did suggest i go home earlier... do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!

thanx lemming! i'm doing a bit better now - my supervisor told me to go home at about 1pm!! and then i got some drugs from the chemist on my way home so it's all good!
and i just went & got some noodles! that'll fix me!

so i spose i could have started a new topic...but who can be bothered!?
i guess i'm after some advice...
i can' remember if i've written anything about this on here, so apologies if i'm repeating myself.
i did something, for which i thought i had approval from a friend (mainly cos she told me to do it!). but then she decided it wasn't cool, and she seems to have forgotten that she told me to do this thing. and now it seems she hates me. we haven't spoken in over a month. and i've seen her a couple of times since. the first time she looked at me in a way that said i hate you. the next couple of tmes i'm not sure if she saw me. i couldn't really look at her. i'm scared of what she might say to me. it breaks my heart every time i see her. we used to be so close - inseparable actually! i just hate the whole situation.
i saw her last night. she didn't look at me, or say anything. but i got really sad & had to leave the club. it was a really good night til then. i'm not sure why it upset me so much. she said the club was neutral territory.
guess i'm just feeling blue in my hungover state. seems silly for me to use the
icon thingy at the top of this post...but it's the one i always use...meh. do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!

....well I don't really know enough to give much advice.... but sounds like a miss-comunication or confusion to me.... if you get a chance to talk i think it'd be a good idea... most people don't mean to upset anybody.... it's mostly just different points of view or miss-comunication which can cause conflict

you need to talk to her and remind her that she said it was cool... then ask wether she really was cool with it or not, and if there is a third party involved which I feel that there is ask them how they feel...

pixie - the costume went down a treat!!
i gave out the burnt daisies to lots of friends, cute strangers & random people! hehe!! i wrote that in another thread somewhere...not sure which one though!! valura - i would love to talk to her. but i know what she's capable of (as in self-harming, and semi-psychotic outbursts - and she has already told me that one night at the club she was looking for me with the intention of shoving a broken bottle in my face) and i'm just too scared to risk it.
how did you know there was a third party involved? the third party feels bad that this has all happened, and keeps trying to take some of the blame off me, but she keeps pushing them out of it, saying it really has nothing to do with them. which is bull, but try telling her that.
i just think i'm gonna have to leave it up to her. i know if i try to call her, she'll hang up on me. i know she can hold a grudge. i'll have to let her make the next move. i feel like if i try & push the issue, she'll run away.
it sucks....
