Buon giorno everyone
,
I'm going to Italia this summervacation, travel around the country, and I'm surely going to bring my pois along with me
!!! So is there anyone that would like to have a spin with me over there or has some tips about cool events/places to visit???

meet-up sounds like fun! I'm going there from 1 juli till 3th of august -> 1to 16 juli near Ancona with friends of me, and from the 16th till 3 august I will be training through Italy (haven't any fixed locations planned yet, I think I'll go to the southern part of Italy...

I'll be busy with my exams till the 8th, so there would be no problem if you come over after the 16th. i only have to make sure that the other girls I live with leave by that date or that they don't mind another crazy juggler around. i'll let you know in time.
Well, i think Rome deserves at least 3 days. there are too many beautiful squares and parks to see and play in, to stay just one day. But, as i said, it all depends on who will be in the flat, apart from me. if i was alone, i'd invite all hoppers to stop by
If you bring a mobile with you, you could pm me your number, once you're in Italy, so that I could let you know what happens.
Do you know Wicca? I deeply believe in that...

Ciao people! Wow there are spinners in Rome and I missed them! Gutted! I went to Rome in April this year with my school. Its's amazing...you need at least a week

I'm so excited about my italy trip (I'm doing 6 weeks there) but am a bit nervous because i'm going alone and really don't speak the language at all (can say ciao bella, but don't know how far this will get me). I'm flying in to rome because it's been on the top of my "places to go" list for about 5 years now and would really appreciate any other traveller's opinions about places to go, things to see etc. especially travellers that have the good sense to poi

Wow, I'm dazzeled by all the posts here, fun to have another one coming to Italy!!! (And Elanna, how is it with her? Can maybe someone can PM her too (I have a very frustratig slow and expensive internet connection)...
Ehmmmz, I miscalculated my budget (I hope t make some money with poiiing....), so If it is possible to stay with you at the end of July it would be great, then it will be the last stop before my return... Don't know how to put that together with stripes though...
stripes-> piacere di cognoscerla, my Italian isn't that great either "-)... If you are going to travel cheap -> like to travel together maybe? I have 4 travel/train days, and one train day for going to the airport btw.

Here's a list of various hostels. The site is in italian, but clicking on the names of single places, you'll have a language option. All I can recommend is to choose among those near/at Termini area, so that you can go anywhere easily from there.

You say you're going busking, does that means with your pois or with music? I play the flute/ most wind instruments and will happily join you if you need more noise (making vast amounts of noise is a speciality of mine)
I'll be in the "enjoy hostel" apparently it's about 5 minutes from the station (but they all say that, and they LIE!!!)

I just wanted to conclude this thread that I want to thank HoP for letting me meet with Stregai and Stripes, and thank both stregai and stripes for giving me an unforgettable vacation, it was 100% fantastic!!!!
