If any one out there knows anyone who has got spare tickets for Glastonbury can you let me know.

I was really looking forward to meeting everyone for a spin there and was gutted when I phoned for them last night and they were already sold out.

Please help me!

You aren't being ignorant Sarah don't worry!
Glastonbury is a place in England but it is just known by everyone here as being home to the huge festival this Summer, and I still don't have a ticket!!

Again, if anyone knows any way to get a ticket please give me a shout.

I don't want to bunk my way in as the money goes to a good cause and apparently they are giving out prison sentences to people doing it (although seems doubtful) but if they don't leave me with any choice I'm going along with my bucket and spade!

hey, i'm sorry you cant get tix mate. 100,000 were sold BUT 40,000 have been kept for competitions, press and volunteers. So keep an ear out on EVERY radio station and enter enter enter. Either that or start producing some furry hats you can sell cos vendors get free tix too!

hope you get somewhere mate

p.s. poigirly, you lucky girl! my mate works for the commitee and says only 50 tix are free, even the press have to pay something this year!! Bloody right too!!

Cheers for your good luck Cassandra!

I think I'm going to find out if I can become a vendor like TwirlyVic suggested, a friend of mine picked up a lot of chains, carvings, bongs, etc. in Indonesia to sell in Europe so I might sell some of that for him there.

Just finding out now how to go about it, cheers for everyone's help.

Re the train tickets, tix at the moment are very expensive because the Apex tix haven't been released yet. They're coming out sometime this week, and will cost under £20 for a London-Castle Cary return. My friends and I are ringing the train co in relays to make sure we don't have to pay more than we really need to.

Pyrophile,

Another option which is one i'm considering, is going as a steward if there are spaces available. It's got some advantages, there details on the Glastonbury Web site.

Just had to share the great news I just got, I'm going to Glastonbury!!!!!

I spoke to this DnB DJ I know in Brighton who not only has got two tickets I can have, they're VIP with full back stage allowance and he's selling them to me for £100 each! I'm so happy!

There's definitely someone looking down on me up there, I'll see you all at the stone circle!

I'm going there tomoz, can't wait, i'm so excited.

My friend has just got a train ticket from london, £30 return.

If your after tickets, go on the message board, the link is on the Glastonbury Official site, some people are still selling. But piece of advise, if you don't have a tcket don't go, the fence is massive, and no hopes of getting in unless with a ticket.

Cheers Azie, but I'm not sure if you'd read my last post that I've got hold of the tickets now!

Still I know loads of people that need tickets so cheers for the advice.

back stage! I'm jealous! There's proper toilets back there!

I know of one spare ticket, for a whooping £200 (maybe less for a silver tongued type)!
