I lived in Christchurch, New Zealand last year for a while and was oblivious to the wonders of poi. I even went to the poi shop there which seems so bizarre now. Thank god I have been enlightened since I came home. I have taken my Poi to France, Brighton and Mykonos and poied on bars, beaches, I even poi outside the office at lunchtime much to amusement of my collegues.
Anyway this is my 100th post!!!!!!
This means that I get to change my member status. Does anyone have any ideas what I can change it to?!?!?!?
Hope someone will pop by and say hi… I have refurbished for the new style HoP board with lush purple velvet sofas, soft carpet and I have just put a few more logs on the fire. There is tea and chocolate hobnobs if anyone wants them. Feel free to make yourself at home.

i've make suggestions on member status, but i'm not very good at it. i just tell everyone to list themselves as my groupie or b*$@h 
narr has been the only one so far to oblige ooh, maybe you could like it as "cheese" so then it would read wizz cheese (ya i realize you prolly won't get why that's funny cause it's a US thing as far as i know.....we have canned cheese that you can squirt out of a bottle....yes i know, sounds really gross, but actually isn't too bad....but it's called cheese wizz....hence the suggestion)

i have poi'ed on the island next to mykonos.
unfortunately i only took tail poi - for ages i've wanted to spin fire on a beach standing just in the shallow water.
i'll do it one day...

My aviator is me in Mykonos, I only had ribbon poi then. I would love to fire poi on the beach. Maybe one day....

actually, I like to walk around without my glasses most of the time. I can still see pretty well, but all the hard edges and details get a bit blurred out. streets look cleaner, the people in the rail station prettier, and things are generally just less obnoxious to look at.
for my vote, I usually prefer to be teased than to see the bald truth, so keep on keepin' on.

I love being obsessed by poi. Its done me a world of good.

hello Wizz, now, I might be mistaken but it sounds like you're a local (compared to me that is, everyone's a local somewhere) in which case double welcome! Hehehe. I personally vote against not meeting folks from HoP, I want to meet local spinners darnit!

Simian - well I went to the shop again as I was in town. and there was a Sam and a Stuart but no faulty neuron in sight. Didnt manage to get to mcdp. PM me if you are heading to the 2 pigs on wednesday.

I adopted a cocktail and called it the Izzie Wizzie Bang Bang so maybe this would be appropriate.
For an Izzie Wizzie Bang Bang you need a tall cocktail glass.
Pour into it:
one shot of Archers
one shot of Vodka
one shot of blue curucao
fill almost to the top with lemonade. Add a dash of grenadine.
It is the most amazing purple colour.
Disclaimer: Lemonade does not taste the same all around the world (allegedly)
