Kat yeah I was kinda sad not to find anything suitable in the UK but you surprise me with what you say... oh well... maybe we will eventually come to the UK ? at the moment we are pre registering for a school in Melbourne for a certificate IV

ITEC I am sure is good but they do not even bother replying to emails and this is not a very reassuring sign when you have to do most inscription work via the internet... I am a bit at them and after what australians say about it ... thank you for the info though and I just cannot wait to trade massages and smiles with you !!!!!!!

Thats really bad about ITEC not replying to you, but frankly I'm not really surprised.

I wrote an email to NPower because I wanted to pay my electricity bill and could not get through on their 08750 number, so I asked them to send my a direct landline number or gave them numbers to call me. My bill is now overdue! They had time to send me a letter saying payment is overdue but not to call I am constantly amazed by how inefficiently 'Great' Britain is run. And the dirty streets. Inefficieny and dirty streets are 2 of my biggest complaints about this country. But the people in London are a lot friendlier than I had been led to believe, so thats a bonus.

Given the opportunity to study Cass that is a great option, but it might be an idea to see if you can take the ITEC exam - that way you can work in the UK / Asia with your qualification with no worries. Anyhow I just wrote them an email, I'll see how long it takes them to write back!

Og goody goody, just as the Autumn starts kicking in a ray of sunshine enters London - Hurrah!

If you have done the study then there should be no reason why you can't take the exam or be eligle to become accredited with ITEC or some other regognised organisation in the UK.

I'm currently considering applying for an introductory anatomy physiology course starting from September running till Dec and then taking the more intensive course run by the same college for ITEC diploma in Holistic massage. Its hard to know what the best option is really. Morley College where I am thinking of doing this also has lots of other great courses, I am interested in their Diet & Nutrition course but that will have to be next year when I have my ITEC diploma.

Oooh so many possibilities. I wish I could go back to school full time as there are so many things I want to study Seems that the Uni I went to has not completely kicked my thirst for knowledge out of me, god knows they did their best

Back to the good news - OCTOBER, hurrah!!

Hi Cass - just had a response from ITEC - that was quick. If you have any questions email SofiaR@itecworld.co.uk. She confirmed that ITEC is recognised in Australia, New Zealand & Far East.

Kat thank you so much for your infos. Obviously you and I have had drastically different feedbacks and response from and about ITEC, which is no surprise because this whole world of massage is a real MESS

Do you know what it takes to be a masseuse in the UK ? is there a particular final exam opened to anyone ? recognition of prior learning etc ... ?

And also Kat i will be in London around the end of october hope we will have time to chat and laugh together

Valura my lil princess have not received any angel but you are one will reply to your PM ASAP...

Hppy unbirthday to me lol... my ex boyfriend whom I have known 15 years and been 3 years with just called me proudly today to wish me a happy birthday mine was july 24th ... who said guys suck at remembering birthdays ?

Have a shining fun beautiful day

Genetic ??? interesting does genetic explain the scratching balls watching football on TV as well as never agreeing to ask anyone for the way despite the obvious hints that we are totally lost ??? am intrigued

WHEW!!!! boy o boy... or more appropriately... girl o girl...

wow... it proves that i must really be male, because i just missed a best friends birthday also, just 2 days ago and wow i want to crawl under a rock!! but i didnt even remember, and i wouldnt have, had i not been told!

so.. allow me to blame this on genetics also. the scratching of the balls thing, Definitely. although some people have it worse than others.

Football? NOT GENETIC... example? my mother is definitely a woman. she will tell you every players family history... and unless she got a sex change when she was young.... and... i seem to remember a particular french frog who unsheathed her claws when i was blocking the telly!!!
err... youre not a... are you???!!!!

hmmmm... what defects are born into the female sex? so sad to say it... having difficulty coming up with any... MEN! to the rescue! there have to be some!

Wow

Moon Pixie baby it is up to you
i will be in paris by mid october for a couple of weeks or i will be all november and decemneer in Tampa with Shibaki or i will then be in OZ and possibly in your house around mid march actually

Shibaki... american football is different it is all about Superbowl And I do not recall you knitting during that game either...

I met a kid yesterday while playign poi with Raphael and he said : you see boys are better at sports but girls are more clever... ROFL

I do think that the thing about not asking for the way is typically male though....

Danae,

You are a Queen of Poi!

Watching you spin tonight on the Champs de Mars reminded me once again how much of an inspiration you have been to me personally.

Thank you again for starting me off on the path I now walk.
