I read somewhere on here once that the best way to spin off indoors after soaking your wicks is to put a wash rag at the bottom of a ziplock and put your poi in the bag and rubberband it up then spin them. The rag soaks up the extra fuel. Just wanted to say that it worked great and thanks whomever for the tip. :PCRD

I bet if you just squeeze them off back into the fuel tin, then squeeze them into a rag it'd work OK. (I'd try it before I used it of course.) We spin off in a "backstage" corner devoted solely for that purpose.

I thought about that..but the only thing I could come up with to squeeze them out with was my fire glove, and I didn't deem it a good idea to put fuel all over something that my safety would be putting on to help grab a flaming poi. Could someone make a suggestion to me for squeezing them out? I don't want hands that reek of kero while I'm up in a club :PPLURCRD
